It’s an impulsive and compulsive itch she will always have to scratch and never be satisfied - she was described as the Undine Spragg

I have just placed an order 😁

What would you say is the end goal of her tenacity?

Why is it so important that you know? And why not go ask her....if its that important to you to know

prelovedusername · 14/10/2025 13:39

What’s the point of your comment @Spectre8? It’s a discussion forum, people are discussing. Why is it so important to you what they say to each other?

I think Meghan is very much like Becky Sharpe.

That’s a disappointing contribution - I would have thought that you would view her tenacity as a very positive character trait so bring an addition to the discussion rather than be so dismissive.

Would you think that Meghan would be in any sense approachable, and would enter into a discussion, genuinely, about her motivation and aims?
Because as long as she's been a public figure, Meghan has dissembled to a significant degree.

To be a world famous billionaire Duchess .

I think she wants attention . Lots and lots of attention. She wants everyone hanging off her every word, thinking she is the fount of all wisdom. Looking up to her adoringly.
She wants never to be criticised but always complimented and praised. First in the room, most important person. Everyone wanting her presence . She wants to be Queen , really.

Without any of the criticism that the Queen gets.

I think she is driven by her innate narcissistic character traits.

The following acronym “SPECIAL ME” outlines the nine signs of NPD - think you only need 5 to ‘qualify’ …… think she might have a fair few….

SPECIAL ME

  1. Sense of self-importance
  2. Preoccupation with power, beauty, or success
  3. Entitled
  4. Can only be around people who are important or special
  5. Interpersonally exploitative for their own gain
  6. Arrogant
  7. Lack empathy
  8. Must be admired
  9. Envious of others or believe that others are envious of them

Take the recent fashion show. There were plenty of A to Z-listers wandering around the fashion shows who understood transaction: eyeballs and positive attention to the brand in exchange for borrowed clothing (Z-listers) or driving sales of the various designers' fashions as the "face" of the brand (A-listers).

Instead of simply wearing the designer's clothing, smiling and being all sunshine and happiness, M issued an avalanche of PR, claiming a friendship with the designer, collaboration with the designer, and sharing unrelated videos driving through Paris driving the Diana link as ever. M ruthlessly extracted every ounce of PR from the fashion show and made Piccioli so upset he fired back...revealing that he did not even invite M...she asked to come.

I agree with the pp who said that M is transactional...but, IMHO, the issue is the zero-sum nature of M's transactional actions which results in pushback from some (F*ing grifters from Spotify) and ghosting by others (Obamas, Clooneys, Beckhams).

Some might call it rudeness or lack of class.

OctopusFriend · 14/10/2025 15:12

She wasn't even invited?! Oh my god. Embarrassing.

ozarina · 14/10/2025 15:48

We saw Harry touting for business for her as a voice over with Disney. I expect this is what Meghan was doing with Vogue - touting.

Also embarrassing - the posters on here saying “why shouldn’t she go and support her friend when he invited her” etc etc

These responses, if they weren’t so eye rolling, would make me laugh.

I’d dearly love somebody to give Meghan and Harry a really good grilling, hold them to account on all their hypocrisy and lies and bullshit. Hell, if I ever came face to face with them, I’d absolutely ask myself.

but nobody can. They can’t because Harry and Meghan never do unscripted interviews where they haven’t pre approved all the questions. They never allow themselves to be subject to any scrutiny or challenge. Meghan doesn’t even allow comments or messages on either her personal or business instagram accounts.

so how exactly is somebody supposed to “go ask her”?

While I'd also dearly love to see that, I'd extend it across the royal board 🙂

Yeah, but H&M are the main bullshitters! 😂😂par excellence

They've inadvisably yapped incessantly exposed themselves as bullshitters, undoubtedly but I'm not sure they can claim even a bought award as top dogs in that particular game.

'Never explain never complain' does some very heavy lifting.

They've made invading family privacy and telling lies a personal cottage industry.
One day they'll reap what they've down .

I agree. To be honest, Im surprised no one in the US has gone for Harry and got him to answer some proper questions. The Royals are never questioned on what they say or have to prove their worth. They are overpraised for very small things. harry is a member of the RF. He was born and brought up in this way and thinks he can bullshit any old crap. The difference is that he no longer has an entire establishment falling over themselves to blow smoke up his arse.

NewAgeNewMe · 14/10/2025 21:57

I’d love someone like Emily Maitliss to interview them. Apparently the dimwit uncle thought the interview had gone well.

I can’t see a proper interviewer getting anywhere close to any of the RF again for an unscripted interview.

He does, though! Seemingly large numbers of people in the USA and beyond who still fawn and curtsey. Every single interview he's ever done, full of sycophancy, It's extraordinary.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 14/10/2025 22:59

I would like Jeremy Paxman to give them a grilling.
