Meghan’s new insta feed

Meghan has just popped a video clip of herself in the back of a limo with her feet up travelling through the streets of Paris. Is this rather insensitive given the way her MIL died or is it perfectly normal to post such stuff?

Instagram has a written post stating Meghan asked for an invite to the Balenciaga show. Maybe this is how it is done but the post makes it seem like the designer was a bit surprised but she asked and he agreed and her appearance was intentionally kept secret until she was there in person. No announcement

Yes the Italian designer kind of put her in her place, in the nicest possible way of course! He said she “reached out and said she’d love to come” to his Paris Fashion Week show and of course he was pleased. So effectively she invited herself.

I am one of the few who loved the white/cream outfit. I thought it was really beautiful. I don’t think she was the best model for it. However, because there were so many photos taken it managed to become quite a statement. I think she’s also following that new fashion for very little obvious make up and the “shiny face” thing.

She’s really a one woman publicity machine, but to what end who can say …. Lady Colin Campbell in a YouTube video the other day wondered if Meghan Markle simply wanted to become the most famous woman on the planet; that she didn’t care one iota whether or not she was liked or respected. Just rich and (in)famous is what is most important to her.

Today her Instagram feed is a film summarising the NYC trip. Maybe I'm not in the fashionable feeds on Instagram but it was all rather amateur in the way it was filmed. That could be the way the in people are doing it at the moment of course.

I noticed the cringey video meg recorded of herself staring AT the camera while hugging Gloria Steinem. The phone looks like it’s balanced on the coffee table.

As if Meg would allow someone to do that on her home and then post it to insta.

I think her PR have told her she needs to up her content. She’s only on 4.2 mil, which is tiny when you consider the press she gets.

So now we have pics of shoes, make up and ed Sheeran.

I haven't listened yet, but the implication is that if someone isn't already big there they may have lost their chance.

Film/photo of her hugging Gloria Steinem - in her home? Sounds very “photo op”, not serious and somewhat intrusive/PR. I don’t think it’s the kind of thing Germaine Greer would agree to.

The part where she is hugging Gloria is so performative. If she is trying to prove a friendship that isn't how to make it seem authentic.

Ed Sheeran is another ginger whinger - maybe it's her thing ( other than jam).

She evades most questions with word salad and repeats what she said on Emma Gredes podcast. Boring as ever.

She has Nannies and staff at her beck and call. Surely she has time to devote to things she is ( supposedly) passionate about!
