Is Meghan a narcissist?

I keep seeing these reels and social media smears on Meghan being a narcissist and abusive partner to Harry. She certainly doesn't seem overly popular with the royal family or understood the expectations of her as a royal when she married him.

I'm by no means a royalist or a fan of Megan's. But I'm the same age as Harry so always felt I could relate a little to him. I haven't read his book or watched the netflix docs.

The main thing that doesn't sit quite right for me is they wanted a 'private life' and then done anything but. Did Megan use Harry's desire for privacy to isolate him from his family and friends?

It made me think of what people wear when they do pilgrimage to Mecca. She reminds me of Jennifer Connelly the actress in these photos.

I’ve just seem seen a video of Meghan at the fashion show. Her white outfit looks really stylish - maybe it’s because it’s not a still image, and on video we can see how the clothing falls and moves with her.

And she’s obviously friendly with the new head designer at Balenciaga and both Anna Wintour and Baz Luhrman greeted her like they were friends.

When see this sort of thing, I realize how nutty the tabloid generated hate of Meghan is. In the larger world, it’s not a thing.

I thought the white cloak thing was a coat, and she has the black dress on underneath, hence the black shoes?

What skincare does Meg use? She is line free, despite two little kids, globally reported family troubles, and a husband who seems rather immature.

Its strange she didn't listen to the Queen and continue acting. Then she and H could probably have moved to the US for her career.

I think she has had laser resurfacing, botox and filers, it not just good skincare. In some images you can see the cheek fillers very clearly, maybe a little surgical tweak also. Her skin looks amazing.

The black dress is very elegant, the white outfit is awful, but it does create a talking point.

She is giving me Kanye West vibes in that outfit, and her make up and pout are giving me Bianca Censori vibes. Both cheap, tacky and desperate for attention…

i can’t help but associate Balenciaga with celebs who are utterly desperate for attention and desperate to be seen. There’s just nothing classy about it at all. You can imagine the conversations with her team, you need to get me into PFW, I need to be seen, but everyone’s there, I want to be one of them…

She looks so out of place, it’s all so forced and so over rehearsed. The pouting, looking back over her shoulder for the camera. She just desperately trying to be someone or something she’s not… she makes the worst fashion choices ever. I think Balenciaga asked her as they knew it would get coverage. She fell for it thinking they think she’s some kind of style or fashion icon. Even her shop my account didn’t last more than five mins. Honestly she’s an utter joke.

I don’t think she got to choose, it was the only one that would invite her! And that’s because it’s a label more associated with the Kardashians than genuine fashionistas now. The frow attendees, with exception of Anne Hathaway, weren’t big names compared to other shows.

I think she is incredibly inauthentic and is definately pre-occupied by forming relationships with high and mighty people.

Meghan always seems very nervous around her, but I guess they were apart when she was younger so maybe she has insecurity.

She just does not have that level of beauty, intelligence and star quality, that undefinable thing that people want to look at and are drawn to. So she acts it, so always appears to be pretending/fake, and it’s just so off putting. People obviously look and pay attention because she puts herself into situations where she is seen, but they are always jeering and irritated by her because of this constant pretence, rather than fascinated iyswim?

I liked both outfits, but her affected, purposeful slow walk and affected head turns for the cameras ruined the whole thing, she just cannot carry it off, no matter how hard she tries, it’s all so forced.

I wonder if she stopped doing interviews and accepting unnecessary awards, kept quiet and just turned up at high profile events every now and then she might develop that air of mystique she is so desperate for? She seems to want to be All Things, but her chance to do that was with the BRF which she threw away with both hands.

Completely agree. She’s a fool, no matter how much money she drenches herself in she’s a fool.

You also know that every interview she does for the foreseeable future will involve the words… when I was at PFW…

Meghan and Harry's courtship happened too quickly, like Charles and Diana. Not enough time to really get to know each other, and realise they dont actually like each other very much 😅
Meghan wasnt properly coached in the royal protocols and thought she was far more important than she actually was within the RF.
They made a massive mistake in parting company with the only currency they have, the RF. That's why Harry's trying to get back into Charles' good books. He's got no money left 😆

I think her skin and makeup look incredible in those pics. She looks beautiful in the black outfit too. She can very often miss the mark but I think this look is a real improvement. Man do I want skin like that!

Nottingham cottage is 1300sq feet, bigger than my parents quite nice (and spacious for 2 people) 3 bed house.

Frogmore is over 5000sq feet.

Both are in very prestigious locations in the uk, one in parkland in very central London. The other in parkland in Windsor, not available to just anyone to live there.

It really is quite disingenuous to call either of them "hovels" or indeed "cottages"...They are quite large properties worth many millions.

The black is one of the best outfits she’s ever worn imo. She looks great if highly self-conscious and as pp said, a bit forced. My only criticism would be that some kind of slip would have softened the slight clinginess around the crotch area, which isn’t elegant! The white outfit is horrendous. I like the severe bun on her. Not a fan of Balenciaga but I think with good styling she could look really great in some simple, draping lines.
