I couldn’t be less interested in fashion, or how celebs, including princesses appear. nor am I a royalist or anti-monarchist. And I’m way too old to be fixated on going on of next generation of royals.
but I am genuinely shocked at size of Kate’s waist in that gold dress, when I saw news. She definately appeared to me to be significantly thinner than her already slim build has ever been, even though she’d clearly lost weight from her illness .
It’s genuinely concerning to see someone still loosing weight, after chemo has finished, and if that means she is struggling to get back to her normal eating regime because her health is still not great.
to take your point about people not knowing what I’ll looks like, My dad died of LBD. Pretty much stopped eating for last 5 months of life (those that have elderly bed ridden relatives know it is astonishing how long people can live on virtually no calories, and how nursing homes try to get high calories food into them on rare days they do want to eat. ). Dad lost weight. Was very frail. But he was dying. His body was shutting down and he needed less and less calories,
And that’s the point; someone who is now on “other” side of difficult treatment, and recovering shouldn’t be loosing more weight, surely?
To say people are pushing an undermining narrative is pants. I think others like me are genuinely shocked to see anyone looking that thin, aside from skeletal models who live of fags and cocaine for a price and fame.
but granted, it’s not anyone’s business but hers, and her medical team. And I assume they must be all feel fine with it, so fair do.
