I think he's going cap in hand to ask for money. I really hope he's not got the nerve to ask to come back!

They have stated they do not want to come back to the UK to live here so why do you even need to speculate or wonder? There was a recent media article about the kids going to school jerry and that was proven false too.

If he wants to reconcile with his father for a father son relationship thats between them. That doesn't mean he wants to split up with his wife and move back.

It is indeed between KC and H if they want to reconcile however H seems incapable of keeping sensitive details private . How can KC trust H not to blab the minute he is out of the room ? Conversations will be very limited

ThePoshUns · 28/09/2025 08:10

He really needs to start keeping his big mouth shut.

Because what they say and what they do often don’t correlate. What people are speculating on is their actions and what it indicates about their true motives, based on past history.

If their actions were consistent with their statements there would be no reason to speculate. So the remedy really is Harry’s hands.

I agree that reconciliation between H and C is a private matter and should remain as such. Harry returning to the UK in anything other than a private capacity isn’t, and that’s what people are discussing.

elessar · 28/09/2025 08:47

Toys are well and truly being thrown out of the pram! Basically leaking and briefing the papers is only ok when it’s Harry doing it with his version of events. The man is such a fool.

Yeah he does. This is the root cause of the current issue, the constant briefing of the media. I think it is really important to them to come back to the uk, do public engagements with Charles, so they can leverage that for money in the USA, improve their reputation and be seen as having access. The half in half out.

i actually beleive they are in real trouble, they have no way to make real money now, and they don’t like to graft, plus their skill set is limited. They don’t have the opportunities they had when they first left.

I can fully understand why Harry is furious that all his carefully placed leaks of him coming back, going to do public engagements with Charles, get him to invictus, maybe even William also attending has been shut down by the palace. It’s obviously something they had decided would happen, but not in any form of discussion with Charles. They just unilaterally decided.

He really needs to start keeping his big mouth shut.

The time to turn over a new leaf in that respect was after meeting the King. I really thought his new PR person was handling things more professionally now but clearly he just can’t be controlled.

Untailored · 28/09/2025 09:24

He’s only only spoken to the media in response to information about the meeting being leaked. Someone who knew a photo had been handed over and that he made an offhand comment about being an official visitor or whatever. That can only be someone in the king’s household, someone who has then phoned the Sun to tell them that. To deliberately make him look bad.

This is what he has always complained about - people on the staff behaving like his and his father/brother not doing anything about it. It’s their staff they employ! I think he has a legitimate right to be angry and frustrated by that, it has happened his whole life and was a major contributing factor to his exit from royal family.

Mylovelygreendress · 28/09/2025 09:24

I imagine Meredith will move on soon !

MrsLeonFarrell · 28/09/2025 09:25

When things aren't going the way he wants it is never his fault. We've had blaming William and Camilla and now we are back to the men in grey suits. When is it going to occur to him that a family whose motto is never complain, never explain, aren't going to enjoy him negotiating through the press?

He is so keen to correct minor details, who was in the photograph, that he loses sight of the big picture, prove you can keep details private.

But it’s ok for him to leak stories ? It’s ok for him not to clap back when his father and SIL are accused of being racist ? It’s ok not to issue a statement condemning the vitriolic bullying of his SIL ?

But he didn’t want completely out, did he? The Sussexes statement said they wanted to collaborate with the then Queen & PoW while having their own endeavours, I can’t remember the exact wording but I’m sure someone else does. They only stropped off when told ‘No’.

Why does he have to correct a minor detail like who was in a photograph? Why is that more important than proving he won't talk to the press about meeting his father?

The palace responded to his initial "sources" who talked about the meeting to the press and gave what we now know was an inaccurate report of the meeting. Who and who is not a working royal, whether half in half out has become possible is a matter that needs to be corrected if a mistaken impression has been given because it has implications for the monarchy. Harry is reaping what he sowed with his inability to keep private meetings private.

Nonsense. The first leaks about this meeting were from the Sussex camp, talking about the hugs and tears between Charles and Harry and suggesting Harry might be welcomed back to the royal fold.

he’s now furious that the narrative he placed out there has been countered by palace officials.

Mylovelygreendress · 28/09/2025 09:58

Slight derail but did they actually buy a place in Portugal or was that just a rumour by the wicked media ?

Didn't he give a big "my conscience is clear" interview to the Guardian about 48 hours after meeting Charles about not feeling bad about anything he'd said or done

Now he is clapping back through the press about a minor detail of whether the family photo included Meghan and/or him - does anyone really care?

bluegreygreen · 28/09/2025 10:05

They just unilaterally decided.

In the same way as they decided about their 'progressive new role' without asking the Queen.

Could it be this one ??

Ha!

In all seriousness though, this is the sort of thing you open yourself up to with constantly running to the press to correct silly details no one cares about.

Exactly, he can claim all he wants about leaks, but Harry and Meghan are the only two who have been proven, with evidence, to leak to the media while trying to ensure the leak cannot be ‘linked back to them’, which was only exposed through the courts.

Why would anyone believe him when he says ‘not us, look over there’ ?

Everyone knows Harry and Meghan leak like a sieve to try to make themselves look better, no one believes either of them.

Pleasealexa · 28/09/2025 10:29

Harry needs to shut up but he doesn't seem to have any self control and clearly can't be stopped by his PR teams.

Thanks for posting their leaving statement, it hasn't aged well. The idea they would "collaborate" with the UK head of state was so arrogant especially when we knew it was not agreed. However it's clear Harry was kern to ensure Archie retained his "rights" within the RF.

However the poor kid is just someone who is wheeled out with a heart over his face and doesn't have a clue about the UK or the RF (perhaps he will watch the documentary and see his mum accuse his grandad of being racist).

Edited

It's the same as his recent statement that the next year will be all about the King.

Harry, every year is about the Head of State.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 28/09/2025 10:42

A reasonable question, @MrsLeonFarrell

With most of their opportunities gone and with what Harry himself has said he now wants, you'd think he'd realise the importancce of silence, but that would take judgement and he clearly doesn't have any

JSMill · 28/09/2025 10:57

Harry, every year is about the Head of State.
Honestly, that just shows his sense of self importance is off the scale.
