I think he's going cap in hand to ask for money. I really hope he's not got the nerve to ask to come back!

I think we know exactly what MJ was like with his kids.
Yes, the endangerment of dangling them over their royal balcony appearance is not right to be insinuated with a picture on here
They won't be on the royal balcony any time but it's the inference

Weepixie · 12/09/2025 18:38

Arraminta · 12/09/2025 18:17

Presumably he wants to cos-play being z soldier again like he did before in Afghanistan with his 24hr personal bodyguard squad of special forces personnel

I don’t think there’s room in an Apache helicopter, or forward air control dug outs for bodyguards.

But that’s besides the point - the fact is that Harry fought in Afghanistan and nothing, regardless of people’s appalling efforts to minimise his active service will ever take that away from him.

TheMeasure · 12/09/2025 18:40

Wasn't it Yvette Cooper who Harry wanted to lobby about getting his security reinstated?
I wonder if he was hoping to run into her over there and have a quick word?
😂

Serenster · 12/09/2025 18:02

And if you think insinuating the parents will dangle their kids over a balcony is okay well no words really. That's a vile post to make

Not to speak for the PP but I thought the image had been posted because Michael Jackson covered his child’s head with a blanket before showing it to the assembled press and public. (He also famously dangled the child over a balcony, but the face-covering is on topic. The endangerment not at all)

It was clearly what the posters inte tion was, no need to use the one with them dangling over the balcony and then reference the balcony itself. There is no need to provide any pic lots of other celebrities post pics of their kids eith enojis on their faces. Get over it 🙄

Spectre8 · 12/09/2025 19:02

Funny how regular posters criticising them won't speak out of that vile post. If it was said about another pair there would of been have bene pages of comments by now condemning it. This is the hypcrocrisy of posters on this board.

You do know 'royalty' is a made up thing?

LOL

Not a fan of History are you?

Weepixie · 12/09/2025 19:12

I’ve no idea what the MJ post meant. In fact I thought it was some weird advert. So if someone wants to explain it to me I’ll then comment on it.

I think English may not be the posters first language and if that’s the case they perhaps don’t have much of an idea as to how Royalty works.

This is why I came here today!

As if!😖

I'm glad they met on a personal level, a family estrangement is always hurtful. It may be the start of a thawing of personal relations.

I'm not seeing it as anything very substantial though. Harry was in and out in 55 mins, so the f2f was likely on just over 30mins. Camilla was there on Charles' insistence, so he seems to be setting ground rules.

IMO (and that's all it is) Harry feels lost without being a working Royal. That's why he keeps doing all these faux Royal events - donating, charity visits, going to Ukraine. They're a faint replica of his previous life. He may want to move back to the UK, but I can't see Meghan ever wanting to. She is living her dream - the big "Hollywood" faux Italianate mansion, Santa Barbara - it's what she probably dreamed of as a child. If she won't come back then Harry won't. And good for them - I don't want them to divorce, and I've been repeatedly reassured they are living their best life, are thriving and happier away from this salty island.

Edit to add - they may thaw relations personally, but The Crown comes first and Harry's burnt that particular bridge.

Edited

I think…

KC will be all too mindful of what Harry and Meghan (and their toxic SS) did to
Catherine.

His first loyalty will be to W and C partly because it has to be but also because KC will have seen at first hand the effect of their cruelty.

His approach to H is bound to be extremely cautious…and to wonder what the awful pair are after now.

If Meghan sets foot in the UK again in any kind of official capacity I’ll chew on my rain hat!

Put your rain hat away! if I were her I wouldn't dream of coming back here

Yes Im not sure why Royalty isn't a made up thing. They don't actually have 'blue blood'. They are distant relatives of people who killed other people centuries ago. That's it. They aren't magically appointed by God or whatever they tell themselves.

CathyorClaire · 12/09/2025 21:19

However much special oil behind a screen so the plebs can't see they douse themselves in.

Have a read of the post again instead of laughing.

We focus a lot on Harry but the King is at fault here…he certainly was dishonest enough in front of his son and with late Diana to bring this onto him.
Yes Harry wasn’t right but everyone wants to be heard and seen. I also hope they get a peaceful reconciliation. I wish for him to be reintroduced as a royal because he is. What a strong message that would be. Of course he could never have anything big at all to care and either his wife.
Family for the wins ❤️

How naive. If there's room for regular soldiers in a dug out, then why not room for special forces soldiers? They just swapped out regulars for special forces. It was his own little vanity adventure.

Not naive. Just someone who was married into the military for 30 odd years and went through 2 Gulf wars.

Also, your lack of a mention regarding just how many bodyguards you can squeeze into an Apache helicopter besides the crew speaks volumes.

Arraminta · 12/09/2025 21:42

@weepixie I'm from a military family too. Both my father and uncle served. My godfather is a retired army major. Had 2 ex boyfriends and friends who joined the OTC at university and then went on to Sandhurst. Have lived around and socialised with military people all my life and DH belongs to a golf society brimming with retired military because we live a stone's throw from numerous RAF bases.

So yeah, I'm afraid your military connections don't impress me in the slightest. I didn't remark about what Harry did/didn't do in an Apache because I've not heard that specifically discussed. But I have heard plenty about how disliked he was and how he did have special forces 'body guards' whilst in Afghanistan. And the fact he blew out veterans in order to attend a glitzy gala with his wife won't ever be forgotten.

Given your family background I think it’s all the more unfortunate that you would disrespect a persons military service the way you’ve done here.

And do you really think your social connections are impressive and make you an authority on that serviceman’s service? The golf club and where you live? Seriously? I can’t actually believe what I’ve read.

Sandhurst I’m not familiar with in real terms but I certainly am very familiar with Cranwell, the Air Force equivalent. We were there.

And you’ve not heard about what he did/didn’t do as an Apache helicopter crewman? Yet you still felt qualified to comment on Harry’s time in Afghanistan? Do you know anything about his time in Afghanistan that wasn’t secondhand information from others?

Harry served. He served well. He served with honour. Nothing his detractors do or say will ever take that from him.
