Dreadful. I hate these programmes, why do people want to know?

tataler · 11/07/2025 12:55

Now if Meghan wanted to make serious money, she’d add digital products to As ever.

No waiting for suppliers, shipping logistics, production time etc

And it’ll be a global sale not restricted to the US!

Serenster · 11/07/2025 12:58

What digital products do you think Meghan could successfully launch? Her podcasts have come and come (and come and gone).

Are you thinking financial products/NFTs? Heavily regulated and expensive to advertised compliantly, especially when any launch by Meghan would obviously be pored over.

CoffeeCantata · 11/07/2025 13:02

Serenster · 11/07/2025 12:51

I think it’s cheaply made!

Yes - it’s certainly not special/gourmet/organic etc. I’m guessing it’s mid quality for the US, but expensively packaged.

No comparison with KC’s products though. But I suspect the fancy packaging is the point for the market she’s aiming at.

Like what? Portrait of the back of her family's heads to download for your gallery wall?

By digital products I mean eCards with her Calligraphy and maybe commissioned card designs.

For event invites, special announcements etc

I think lemon juice as well, @jeffgoldblum is a thickener? We know Montecito is full of lemons!

Sort of @RandyRedHumpback, but it’s not terribly efficient and the amount needed to set low pectin fruit would change the flavour, I do use it for my feta and soft cheese instead of citric acid but I like the tangy taste.

im beginning to get a sparkling water in scrambled eggs moment again! 🤣

Have you tried KCs jam?

I’m assuming that @LadyJaneGrey18 response is due to the fact that Meghans “ calligraphy “ isn’t actually real calligraphy and more “fancy “ handwriting with flourishing added afterwards.

She used to do wedding invites years ago for such famous people as Robin Thicke.

Yes! She did, thanks for the reminder.

tataler · 11/07/2025 13:35

Interesting, I didn’t know she previously taught a Calligraphy class.

Paper Source CEO Winnie Park heaped praise on Meghan's calligraphy skills, telling People: "It was her part-time job as she was going through auditions. She taught calligraphy and hosted a group of customers and instructed them during a two-hour class on how to do calligraphy."

jeffgoldblum · 11/07/2025 13:50

You cannot teach people to do proper calligraphy in 2 hours!
real calligraphy is forming the words without lifting the pen in one solid movement, you do not add the flourishes afterwards.

Serenster · 11/07/2025 14:00

Yes, jeffgoldblum. My mother did calligraphy as a hobby, and spent hours and hours learning and practising.

Meghan doesn’t produce calligraphy. She has pretty cursive handwriting with added flourishes. I was told I was being unfairly pedantic when I pointed this out previously on these forums, but it’s like the difference between sewing an elasticated skirt and fitting a couture jacket. Both take skill, but the gulf between them is vast.

tataler · 11/07/2025 14:11

Just had a nosy at the trademarks, it is included!

So many possibilities.

I’d like a Tote bag next.

Very true serenster , ive said it before but Meghan and her fans actually do her a disservice by overinflating her achievements and talent, all the negative comments are basically caused by them over egging the pudding !

if she wasn’t billied as being a Hollywood actress, people wouldn’t have to say she was actually a forgettable cable tv actress.

if they didn’t crow about her success, we wouldn’t mention the mistakes and failures.

if they didn’t hail her as some feminist humanitarian, we wouldn’t point out the bullying and selfish behaviour.

if they didn’t hold her up as some selfless truth teller, we wouldn’t mention the constant lies.

lastly If they didn’t big up her fancy perfectly fine handwriting as “ calligraphy “ , we wouldn’t have to point out that it isn’t close to being the real thing.

I thought she couldn't do any textiles because of the As Ever brand in China or somewhere?

IMO her packaging isn't that fancy, to my eye it looks very cheap and basic - especially the labelling on the wine. It doesn't say high end to me, the labelling on Aldi wine is more expensive looking. TBF, maybe that's just the photos and irl it looks and feels better.

It's just when you see the photos of eg., Clooney's tequila, Dwayne Johnson's tequila, even Bon Jovi's wine the labels look pretty thoughtfully created and more "put together" and high end.

If I'd spent $110 on 3 bottles of wine and it came in a brown cardboard box, with egg box packaging and thin tissue paper I wouldn't be happy - especially when the other As ever products came in better packaging (still not particularly high end but looked as if a bit of effort had been applied).

Great post! 👏

All the, "Why do you keep talking about the same things/going over past history/it's been 5 years, blah, blah, blah...?" It's because the same untruths keep getting repeated again and again.

She can do tote bags, I don’t think they count as textiles.

She’s received a Notice of Allowance for all class applications.

Very true Randy,
I would probably reply to those people now , “ why do you care what I talk about? “
Because we all know the real reason that we shouldn’t talk about things from the past don’t we!
because it makes them look bad and they can’t defend against things that have now been proven to be lies .
