You are the liar here.
This try hard bit of word salad is from the As ever front page:
What began with a small pot of fresh fruit preserves, bubbling away in my home kitchen, has inspired this curated collection to bring surprise and delight to your every day.
As ever is more than a brand. It's a love language. Created my Meghan Duchess of Sussex, As ever welcomes you to a collection of products, each inspired by her long lasting love of cooking, entertaining and hostessing with ease.
This curated collection has been crafted to elevate your everyday and inspire moments of joy.
What is it about a white label, drop label good that is "crafted" or "curated"? The implication of those words is that the product is unique in some way to Markle. Not that they are just cheap, generic products with her particular label slapped not them and a hefty mark up, indistinguishable from any other drop shipping outfit using the same products from this supplier.
Manufacture in a factory setting is a red herring. Nobody thought MM would be making this in her kitchen. She'd completely fail the FDA rules on food manufacture for the mass market, for a start. However, there is a strong implication in the words above that the product is something unique to Meghan. And we know this is not the case.
The fact is that the actual supplier was discovered through analysis of the meta data. And what did Meghan do? Did she own it? No. How could she? That completely shatters the illusion that she is a female founder. That As ever has actual foundations, when it doesn't. No, she had the meta data changed to state that the supplier is As ever - which is a lie designed to cover up the true supply chain. And now we are hearing that she intends to change supplier. Why on earth would she do this with a brand specifically and "lovingly" crafted curated to her and her alone? Well she wouldn't if that was the case, would she. But because she's merely engaged in drop shipping, she can drop her current supplier of generic shite now she's been found out.
