I think the Palace are still protecting her, from a damage limitation perspective. I think Harry, as dimas he is, is finally seeing through her and Doria, but he now has two adorable children to consider. I think Harry is bored to tears and starting to be embarrassed by her. Even he recognises the sacharrine sychopgancy. I mgivibg them 3 more years, with Harry being less and less visible. I ld say he ld reach out to the palace now, if they would listen.

I’m not sure he does see through her at all.
Its hard to know why he doesn’t but I still think he’s infatuated with her.

I’m getting the feeling that the Palace protects her because Harry has told her some very dark secrets indeed.

Harry was rattling on today about meghans wisdom of living your life by the truth. Harry is upset his 5 year plan is all abit screwed. They can't help themselves. I've seen so many people make monumental mistakes and many have one thing in common, the inability to self reflect on their part. It has to be someone else. He talking about digital harm and his irony meter is broken.

The thing about M especially but also Harry - they (it seems to me ) don't care about anything other than their truth , how they feel or what it suits them to say. I think H is more of a "my truth" person and I think , sadly M will just say anything that suits her. Is the saying - "A lie is half way round the world before the truth has got its shoes on" ? which is why the OW interview and the Netflix docuseries were so very damaging - they set the agenda . & M knew fine well the RF weren't going to get into a slanging match so she had an empty goal to aim at.

But over time let's see. They do seem to be losing cachet and respect & also ( I am from the UK) I am interested that @My2cents1975 has posted that those in the UK may be surprised by just how little traction H&M get in the US.

I was in Montecito at Easter, with an American friend, meeting up with some of her other friends from the area( fancy, I know!) . I thought they would want to talk about H&M, or the Royal family or something adjacent. All they wanted to talk about was the weather in England and Trump( not their favourite person!!!!!!). Harry and Meghan didn’t even register on their radar!

It’s really hard to analyse. You can see that, even at the time of the Netflix doc, the sneery curtsy moment clearly made him cringe, yet it’s as if all these things occur in isolation and he never joins the dots to see the bigger picture.

But I have witnessed relationships like that where a man is so obsessed and brainwashed into blind loyalty to his partner that you feel she’d have to strangle puppies in front of him to make a dent in his adoration. I’ve even heard them say something akin to the “What Meghan wants…”line. It’s definitely a thing!

Just reminded of when I met a very nice bloke at a party a million years ago - a friend of a friend’s brother. He took my number - but sadly didn’t call. Then my friend (!!!) revealed that she’d told him after I left that I was a member of an extreme political movement and even went on marches. She said it was hilarious - his face! Whaddayado? Once something’s said, people think there’s no smoke without fire. And there was definitely no fire in my case! Good job there was no social media back then or goodness knows what she’d’ve been saying.

@onehorserace I've just seen that , the agreement wotsit says dessert , port, sherry (cooking wine) . The dessert wine on the Kunde website sells for $40 so if Meghan is going to make a profit it's going to be pretty expensive.

I thought it was rosé she was selling?

though the rosé on the same website is also $40, so Meghan’s will be at least as expensive - but probably more I suspect in order to pay her partnership revenue shares. Maybe $60?

@Mylovelygreendress I thought Meghan had been trampling grapes in her outhouse just before she stood on that chair for the apricot spread picture but it seems it really was a shadow on the soles of her feet.

Would this wine maker have blended a wine especially for Meghan or would it be their wine with her label on it.

Disappointing for the keenest fans, it might have been the closest they'd get to actually licking her feet.

Tbh Meghan might as well go for $100, it will be limited for her audience and they will lap it up. It will probable be a blend of established wines.

Celeb runs of wine do seem to be very popular at the moment - although friend was raving about how nice Kylie’s wine is, saying it was a pity because everyone would think she’d bought it as she was a fan of Kylie, when actually it’s just very drinkable!

Think Graham Norton has actually bought a vineyard, not just given his name to a producer, but can’t remember where I heard that so happy to be corrected if he’s another just adding his name to someone else’s product.

Wine is a good one for the “Californian product” focus, at least wine is something California is famed for producing. (Unlike honey)

Can she market it as rose though as that document doesn't mention rose ? And I'm sure rose is different to sherry and dessert wine.

Slight derail. Just to add to why the WLM series is over.

The house they rented, is now under the name Monticeto Orchard Private Estate (bit like ARO don’t you think?) and has been marketed as a wedding venue since November. So 4 months after filming WLM ended. So I’m guessing they knew NF wouldn’t be coming back to rent it so pushed forward with their new business, which means :

• Megs wouldn’t go back to a venue thats now being used for parties, baby showers and weddings by the hoi polloi.
• It would throw off the continuity if they filmed elsewhere (the only exception is if they filmed in her home with ‘weathered worktops and a well used stove’ not my words, the NYT!)
• Filming would have to start soon or be underway for another series to be 6 months after the last. If the venue has been advertising as a wedding venue for the last 9months, then the summer months will be booked up with weddings.
• If she had marked off the summer months for the venue in advance then she would surely have told us about WLM3.

There is also an air of desperation around Megs that she’s giving off; you felt on the Emma podcast when she talks about As ever- but I think that’s because she had the knowledge that the podcast is over and WLM is now done. So it’s just As ever on its own and it HAS to work.

This coupled with the amateur photos released for the new stock and the somewhat embarrassing pics she posting of fans that have got hold of her merch. Note no one is willing to be photographed with any of these products. Also still nothing of eBay.
