So they are showing faces now, how long until they are including them in everything, showing them fully.
I feel like this is a bit desperate now. It was their last card to play, the children. They’re trying anything now for attention, what do they have left, showing private videos of them after all the criticism about the Wales children being on display.
One thing about them is they always surprise me.

Do you have kids? Are you restricting their tech use and having sm accounts? Have you been having those conversations with them about am and trolling and hateful comments? Or if they arent old enough will you be planning too? Becuase if you do have kids and have been or will be then what's so wrong about what I said?

Dont you think you would be a hypocrite teaching kids not to make horrible or snarky comments online whilst you yourself do it?

Edited

That eloquently sums up how many poster feel about the hypocrisy of Harry and Meghan. Good advice as they are pretty much guilty of all those points.

I think the point that you are ignoring is that preaching about the evils of social media whilst posting pictures of you children on said social media is a tad hypocritical. Nothing to do with talking to your children about how to behave on social media. I doubt snark will ever go away either, or that children won’t indulge in snark on social media. Snark is not trolling

I didn't know schmaltzy videos of the Wales kids was a requirement. Their choice to do that. Same as it's harry and Meghan's choice to put out what they do

Why do we have to see the children because they will be Princess Royal or whatever, that's a bizarre reason. They are used as props when necessary

Because it's in the public interest.

It's like never seeing who the prime minister isnor something

H is a notable writer of royal fiction whose recollections often vary from reality, so in that context, she is a suitable hire.

Per Spare: H was alone at Eton when he got a call Queen Mother died

Reality as documented by Swiss/UK/US and other global media: H was skiing in Switzerland with King Pa and W, on Easter break complete with a first day photocall, when the Queen Mother died. H flew back to the UK with King Pa and W.

So, in the fictional version H got the country wrong, the location wrong, the people he was surrounded by wrong, etc. But not a word of apology or contrition...as long as his lies sold and he made money.

This has irritated me ever since the book was written.

Noone has ever called him out for the blatant lie and he's never commented on it himself

He clearly wanted it to seem like he was emotionally neglected during the death of the Queen Mother, when in reality he was with his father and brother.

the hiring of the crown publicist has hardened the rumours of a Diana special or a serialisation of spare. TBH it would be fun just to see the casting for spare, Camilla representation would be savage. The biggest invasion of all the childrens of the Wales and sussexes privacy was Netflix, spare and Oprah it set everything in motion since. Archie especially will have to deal with very private information that is all over the internet.

Do we think, if Netflix went for a drama series of Spare, would the RF finally take legal action?

That's an interesting question. It's so obviously full of lies, it would be one ludicrous scene after another. I genuinely don't know how that could be dramatised.
The scene with Meghan kneeling on Diana's grave, clutching the headstone and asking for guidance?
The scene in the maternity hospital where Harry gets high on the Entonox?
The todger scenes 🤮 🤢?.
The ridiculous dog bowl scene?
Good luck with that, Netflix.
Still, Harry's aim is just to make money and he doesn't care how, so I suppose he'll be a consultant.

Rhaidimiddim · 16/06/2025 20:20

Is ageism OK but not racism?

elessar · 16/06/2025 20:23

God she’s unbearable. “I would ask people to tell the truth” really?? As you say @AtIusvuethe presenter is giving her an opening to show a bit of humility - on her own terms - to make herself a teeny tiny bit more likeable. All she had to do was say something like “I should have thought more carefully about saying certain things as I was caught up in emotion when I said them and I didn’t think about the impact they would have” or “I may have come on a bit strong in some of the statements I made and now with distance and time I’ve changed my views” or even “I haven’t always got it right with managing people, I wasn’t used to staff and when I felt under pressure I haven’t always reacted well” - something, anything, to take the tiniest bit of responsibility for the way she’s perceived.

but no, she doubles down. There’s not one single thing she’s willing to admit she should have done differently? Instead, she’s a perfect angel, and everyone who says otherwise is just lying about her? It beggars belief, it really does.

And that’s why she and Harry will never, ever, be popular. Because to be universally liked you have to have some humility, be willing to admit your own faults, and do the work on yourself - not just blame everyone else for all your problems.

If (& I must admit, I think it would be a BIG if) Spare was ever dramatised it would be so obviously ridiculous it would torpedo any plans for the Sussexes to be taken seriously.

Dramatised footage of Meghan clutching Diana's grave and asking for guidance? Singing to seals? Brothers arguing? Staff being bullied? One sausage less? Bullying a disabled matron at school? All it would show is Meghan fishing for Harry and then reeling him in. And him being an arse.

Actually, put like that - I'm all for it.

FenellaFeldman · 16/06/2025 20:26

It would actually be quite a good comedy! 😜

NormaMajors1992coat · 16/06/2025 20:28

Just laughable that people are comparing the Wales and Sussex children and whether or not they should be in the public eye or not. Archie and Lili have no need to be all over their mother’s insta, they will never have public roles as working royals, they have no constitutional significance, there’s no public interest in seeing them, they don’t need to get used to a life in the spotlight or learn how to behave in front of cameras and crowds.

The Waleses on the other hand will be high profile senior royals. George will be king. They need to learn how to deal with big public occasions. Plus these carefully controlled appearances allow them to be protected the rest of the time. Thinking back to when everyone went crazy because Kate wasn’t seen in public often enough, imagine the shitty rumours if we never saw the children. Imagine the frenzy when they were finally ‘revealed’ and how difficult that would be to deal with if they had had no previous experience. Plus it’s part of the contract between the royals and the public (and the press). We (partly) pay for them, they represent us, we are linked and have a legitimate interest. This is absolutely not the case for Archie and Lili, who are completely insignificant in the life of the UK.

Yes - like most children they are completely insignificant outside their own immediate family. Which cannot be said for the Waleses!

FenellaFeldman · 16/06/2025 20:31

Excellent points, @NormaMajors1992coat .
The problem is that H&M are obviously desperate for Archie and Lilibet to be significant, and to be regarded as royals.

Or maybe it’s more that the parent or parents are desperate to be significant and regarded as royal. They are constantly aping what a certain other royal couple are doing, or at least what they perceive them to be doing 🤷‍♀️

Yes, and doing this vicariously through the children. Trying to ensure they're still regarded as royals.

I can't keep up.

Is this video supposed to commemorate UK father's day or US equivalent?

Aren't there enough artful glimpses of juvenile face parts to compile an accurate composite for anyone interested already?

Was the 'accidentally leaked' Christmas card a fake?

Tired.

The other bit of the lie is that, on that holiday, he and his brother and dad did the usual day 1 press pack photo; and iirc, it was the first official photo of him after he was publicly busted for doing drugs at Eton shortly beforehand. He also travelled home with his dad and brother on the same flight, which must have been memorable because usually they were not allowed to fly together.

No public interest in seeing them yet many on here are purposefully checking her insta despite the fact they openly admit they don't like her. 🤔 strange isn't it why purposefully go looking if you aren't interested

Ok but the public interest is not a measure of how interesting the public find something, you know that right? I can never tell when you’re serious.

US and UK have the same Father’s Day I think. It’s Mother’s Day that’s different.
