I don't understand why she's posted this. In what way is she hoping to enhance here brand/improve her image? It's so weird.

@SweetDarling of course she can and does but it ends up making them look like a bigger pair of fools than was already thought!

She can put what she chooses out. Her child was still in the womb. I have more of an issue with the other photos they put out of their children where you can actually see parts of their face, I don’t like any children being put on social media. Putting a video out doing a dance when you can’t see the child really isn’t an issue.

By them putting out this video it has caused even more reputational damage to their “brand”.

Yep, and ‘clocking on time’ or something, that one comes up quite a lot I’ve noticed, as if anyone with a remotely favourable opinion is in the paybook of MM Confused

Edited

It's nothing to do with anyone having a favourable opinion, it's about the 'oh you're a racist, a hater, nothing better to do, go and get some fresh air, go and smell the grass' solely because posters think Meghan's content is shite, or that she is inauthentic, publicity attention seeker, poor businesswoman, etc etc. Those are usually the Meghan superfans who arrive with the same playbook time after time. There are posters on this thread who think the video is cute and who left it at that, without having to reach for the Sussex Squad mantras.

You didn't film it then post it on the internet years later, knowing you were of interest to the voyeuristic public, whilst also constantly whining about your privacy though, presumably?
I dislike the image that Megan conveys of herself, but I'm very impressed at her fitness and motivation. I was NOT dancing when I went in to be induced, walking the dog in fields was enough for me.
This does show that they (used to?) have fun together, in their own way. Hopefully they still do.

But it almost certainly wasn’t spontaneous NB: the date in the sand video, imagine H being encouraged to perform multiple times.

I can image…..

’You need more crotch dancing H’

’please make sure you’re out of shot so everyone can get a good angle of me getting down to twerk’

I don’t know anyone that would think much of this video, neither good or bad. It’s just a dance. Most people simply won’t care.

I think it’s seeded the opposite & desired effect. Many think they’re relatable & ‘just like us’ such as when H ordered Nandos whilst in Portland delivery suite.

Yeh, common, like the rest of us- so stop with the HRHs and drop the titles.

And here we have the haters comment. I do wish people would use the English language and use another word instead of being lazy about it especially as it’s not even true

personal attacks against women are nothing else but hatred.

I am not even going into the barrage of abuse faced by Kate, but Meghan is being criticised for anything and everything, from her ANKLES (FFS, what do you want the woman to do about it?) to her "inappropriate" clothes (identical to the ones worn by Kate on the same occasion to put it back in context)

Accusing women to have surrogate is not even a criticism, it's just hateful troll nonsense.

So yes, "haters" is the most polite word to describe some of the idiots.

3peassuit · 05/06/2025 11:12

If they want to be seen as His and Her Royal Highness’s and do the odd faux royal tour; they should keep stuff like this private. I find posting a video a bit bit cringeworthy whoever was doing the pre birth twerking.

You would have to be a complete idiot to find 2 forty year olds twerking in a labour ward relatable. They can kiss any future visits to the UN goodbye.

the issue of surrogacy is being discussed all over SM

it was already "discussed" heavily when Kate was pregnant for the first time. Haters can't even find original topics.

Haters . Can supporters find a new word ? It’s not hate to find someone’s behaviour reprehensible. It’s not hate to dislike liars . It’s not hate to find H and M hypocrites.

Using the word haters is boring and lazy. She is criticised because of what she has said and her behaviour. I’m pretty sure Megan also carried out personal attacks in her various interviews so that kind of blows your “theory” out of the water

Exactly. It’s all part of the same script without even the smallest whiff of originality

It’s been a Tik Tok/insta etc trend since 2018 apparently & thousands do/have done it. So yes, many find very relatable, just read some of the more positive newspaper comments. Quite the U turn for H who didn’t wholeheartedly embrace the Queen’s suggestion of a bumpy car ride to effect same ends.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 05/06/2025 11:35

I do think it's sad we know all about Harry's todger, his horsey antics, and we've now seen her shaking butt and her naked thighs. It was never asked for, never needed and never needed to have been shown. There is power in mystery and dignity in modesty. This hapless pair have given away both their power and their dignity. And once gone, they can't really be reclaimed.)

Very well put, @SoFullOnMj

Having never been on TikTok I wasn't to know this was some sort of fad on there, but it strikes me as just another example of people's brains falling out when they get on such things

Well even more embarrassing for them as they are 7 years to late. TikTok is aimed toward the younger generation not two sad forty year olds. This is not the demographic for their brand. It just isn’t. Most of the newspaper comments I’ve read have been anything but supportive. The pair of them were so desperate to be taken seriously and this is what they have been reduced to. It’s pathetic

I think they are very/most popular with the late teen demographic so that might be a sweet spot for the brand.

She didn’t post it out of nowhere, it’s the day her daughter was born , she posted it on her birthday

I know that. I meant that Meghan has never, ever posted anything remotely as informal as this video. Everything up to now has been tastefully windswept, or stylised black and white, or filmed by a camera team and edited.

And then this? It's just so odd, as there's been no lead up to it. No gradual "Oh look we're relatable!" candid photos, or whatever. Just straight into "Bang! Pregnant woman twerking and white man attempting to dance!" territory.

Everything Meghan does is calculated (fair enough, she has a career to attempt to resuscitate).

Anyone remember that totally cringe "Ermagahd, it's BEYONCE texting me!" totally real and unscripted moment in their documentary? I thought that was cringe enough.
