I don't understand why she's posted this. In what way is she hoping to enhance here brand/improve her image? It's so weird.

Not a chance in hell that bump is real.

Why do they want to share this with the world? There's no limit to their desperate attempts to draw attention to themselves.

Why do you choose to watch and comment on what they share with the world?

I'm not a cheerleader for H&M but this is much easier to watch than the entirety of their Netflix output and all the victim-claiming poe faced woe is me interviews.

They have probably been advised to do it by their new PR to humanise them and make them seem a bit more fun. If you think about it (Hitler uniforms aside) Harry used to be known for being the fun brother before he took a wrong turn down victim alley.

If I were them I'd want to be known for being philanthropic, statesman/woman like and fun!

Bouncing on a birthing ball would have been a better idea!

Good call, new PR. Show them ‘the real you’ down to earth, friendly, relatable.

What makes you say that? If fake you’d do a better job, the dress is loose.

sunshinewook · 04/06/2025 18:47

I thought the surrogacy rumours were more about the pregnancy with Archie, if so this wouldn’t do anything to address that. I have a feeling this will not have the effect she was hoping for.
I'm really curious to hear from ladies who have been pregnant what their observations are, based on their own late pregnancy experiences.

Firealarm1414 · 04/06/2025 18:47

Do they let you go a week overdue with pre eclampsia? I know 2 women who had that and they were both induced early

Edit: apparently she had post partum pre eclampsia and not when she was pregnant

Why do you choose to watch and comment on what they share with the world?

Why do you think she posted it?

Because if she didn't want people to watch and comment on it, why would she post it?

Hilarious that they think this might squash surrogacy rumours. It’ll likely do the opposite. It looks beyond fake.

That’s what I thought but you’d do a better job of mocking up. Why not sit with knowledge you birthed kids & not offer yourself up for scrutiny.

A PP nailed it upthread, it’s about new PR showing us they are fun & relatable.

jeffgoldblum · 04/06/2025 18:49

i still am at a loss!!!
why? Why? Why?

alcoholnightmare · 04/06/2025 18:50

I think just a bit of bored in labour fun personally. No big deal. Wouldn’t post it online myself, but I’m not a celebrity.

babystarsandmoon · 04/06/2025 18:50

It almost looks like she’s put a pillow up her dress as her bump is the weirdest shape ive ever seen.

I thought the rumours more re: baby 2.

Especially coming after the "Oh, the As Ever launch was such a massive success that we're - not stocking the items any more, while we take some learnings" guff.

But it's such a massive pivot, such a tyre screeching turnaround.

We’re fun (!) see! Relatable like other celebs in birthing suite. Maybe this IS the real them. H’s dancing! Lol!

Maybe that’s new, clever PR?

I had pre eclampsia with one pregnancy and was induced at 40 weeks. I was gigantic (everything from my waist down was massively swollen with pitting oedema - I genuinely did put on about 3 stone, largely retained water weight) and was lying on a bed with a trace monitor on the baby and a cannula in my arm - definitely not mobile. So, not a remotely similar experience to Meghan’s as depicted in the video.

CandyflossKid · 04/06/2025 18:53

VanCleefArpels · 04/06/2025 18:42

And in a more serious note when I was in labour with pre-eclampsia I was a terrified snotty mess surrounded by many health professionals.

This!

AnotherEmily · 04/06/2025 18:53

It’s because she is really relatable and hilarious! And because Lilibet’s birthday is definitely not all about her.

itsmeits · 04/06/2025 18:53

This would have been better posted in the moment in my opinion. Each to their own.
Not personally something I would share in the moment or 4 years later.

hopeishere · 04/06/2025 18:54

User14March · 04/06/2025 18:38

She’s in the delivery room?

In America. In a private hospital. She’s not labouring with five other women in the pre labour ward on the NHS. They will have been in this room the whole time.

jeffgoldblum · 04/06/2025 18:54

User14March · 04/06/2025 18:52

But why?
it’s obviously fake !
even to people like me who never believed the moon bump stories and firmly believed she was pregnant, it’s obvious that she has something lumpy and oddly shaped stuffed up her dress!!!!! Why?

DiamondThrone · 04/06/2025 18:55

So, so far for Lilibet's birthday, we have had two soulful black and white photos of Meghan, and a video of Megan twerking.

🤔

The bump does look really fake!
