Harry knocking on random doors in London

What a strange story! I’ve seen it being reported that Harry was wandering around a road in London, knocking on (at least 3) doors whilst looking for a friend 🤔🤣

How would you not know which house your friend lived at?

I'm more surprised he's actually got any friends here.

Or maybe not friends but 'contacts'?

EsmaCannonball · 10/05/2025 08:27

'Hi, you don't know me but I noticed these houses have cellars and I wondered if you could chain me to the pipes in yours for a bit? You see, that way my dad will order the SAS to follow me around the world and make me feel special again. I can give you 48 jars of flower petals.'

This is hilarious 🤣 I bet you he didnt know he'd be filmed. He's probably not heard of doorbell cameras, when you servants open doors or security controlled gated driveways why would you. 🤣🤣

That's what I was thinking! He's used to butlers and housekeepers, and the concept of a ring doorbell may be new to him.

queenofarles · 10/05/2025 08:28

he now has to figure out addresses himself and order deliveroo rather than have someone run out and pick it up for him

thats what PAs are for, and they are more affordable than security.
Seriously this just get weirder and weirder , anyone would have thought he comes over with a big team, PAs , Security, communications and SM mangers , people that actually work and manage their office ? , it seems he just comes solo. While Meghan is busy living her best life cutting and arranging flowers and running her mini emporium in the making!

CalicoPusscat · 10/05/2025 08:28

Who actually paid his court costs for the security cases?

MightAsWellBeGretel · 10/05/2025 08:10

Jesus, people are willfully not seeing the point, aren't they?

He's been whinging about security yet goes knocking on random people's door? It's very odd behaviour - that's why it's in the news.

Why doesn't he have this friend's number? Any time I've been lost, I've called the friend to check. Why hasnt he done that? It would seem it's either someone he no longer has a number for or isn't sure how he'll be received if he calls in advance. Whatever is going on there, it screams of desperation and is completely incongruous with someone who is apparently concerned about their security and think the British tax payers should stump up for protection costs!

I shouldn’t imagine he’s worried about his safety in a v expensive area of London no one knows he’d been in, no.

More at home, or at public events, or his kids’ schools yeah? Cos that’s.. where someone who wanted to get at him would have a go.

Although again, who cares.

Ah OP this is so embarrassing for you 😂

He wants security for his family; his very small children.

Dying that you think, apropos of nothing, that it indicates him searching for a drug dealer lol.

It was a joke based on himself admitting via Spare and interviews that he is quite fond of using drugs.

Harry says that he has not had an annual risk assessment since he left the UK I assume that assessment would not only look at terror threats but also obsessive fans and perhaps even if his own actions can mean he is a threat to himself.

Lol at the random Taliban or neo nazi answering the door

no you've got the wrong house and I did have plans for today, but since you're here, I'll just harm you on religious and ideological grounds.

You laugh but stranger things have happened. Harry is the one who seems to think he is going to randomly bump into Taliban or a Neo Nazi when he’s popping over to visit Pa at the last minute 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes, and they are all hanging out in Buckingham Palace, Sandringham and Windsor Castle.

Twat.

SirChenjins · 10/05/2025 08:35

There has to be more to this story surely - I thought his life was literally at risk every time he stepped out the door and ventured his very expensive neighbourhoods, and therefore needed security?

EsmaCannonball · 10/05/2025 08:36

Coke or brothel is a possibility.

If I were lost and looking for a friend's house I would text or phone that friend or friends in common. I would not wander a half-mile street knocking on random doors.

Does he not have Google Maps? Makes me think that he didn't know the house number.

... Westminster Abbey for the Coronation, St Paul's Cathedral, Sandringham, Balmoral, in Royal limousines and the VIP suite at Heathrow. 😂

Thegreenandpurpleone · 10/05/2025 08:40

This is such an odd story. The point I think people are missing, is that Harry himself is the person going to great lengths (court cases, BBC interviews, his wife and children have not visited the UK in years) to tell us that he’s so unsafe here he needs the 24/7 security, then is happy to wander round Fulham streets and order Deliveroos to where he’s staying. It is true that he could have knocked on the door of someone who could have decided to do him harm (yes, it’s unlikely, but possible). If it did all happen as the papers are telling us, the optics are really dreadful. It’s really not as simple as “getting the wrong door is no big deal, we’ve all done it”.

Thedom · 10/05/2025 08:41

Idiot and some people believe him.

The prince told the ITV documentary Tabloids on Trial, which aired in the U.K. Thursday night, that “all it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this stuff, to act on what they have read.”

It’s still dangerous. And all it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this stuff, to act on what they have read... And whether it’s a knife or acid, whatever it is. And these are things that are a genuine concern for me.,

TheHerboriste · 10/05/2025 08:43

The bins are chef’s kiss.

I bet Meghan is angry that he’s once again shown as a bumbling loser.

Wakemeupbe4yougogo · 10/05/2025 08:43

There's clearly someone stood behind him so if he's so at risk why on earth weren't they ringing the doorbell for him. He would never go anywhere without security, he's too vain.

MrsEmmelineLucas · 10/05/2025 08:43

I only hope that this provides material for a chapter in "Spare 2".
"I was all alone in a rough London street, the houses were all joined together, and there were bins at the front, it was terrifying. Meanwhile Pa and Camilla were living it up with VE Day veterans, having tea and sponge cake while I suffered."

LaMarschallin · 10/05/2025 08:45

Just been catching up on this thread.
Seems a really weird story.
It's quite funny catching up on a lot of posts at once.

Usual few posts about clicking on the thread by accident and hardly being interested in Harry but, since I'm here, I'll take the opportunity to call some people fucking psychos or whatever.

So far "Why do you care?" is doing a good bit of heavy lifting, with "Ho ho! Like Harry's going to meet neo-Nazis and the Taliban on a posh London street!" also proving popular.
I mean, don't tell MNers that: tell Harry - he's the one who's fretting about security.

It really is season 5 of the Windsors territory. If that’s where they’re up to.

I don’t see what Meg has to do with anything. This occurred in Fulham apparently.

Maybe his pizza got misdelivered.

Because everything is always her fault don't you know
