Harry knocking on random doors in London

What a strange story! I’ve seen it being reported that Harry was wandering around a road in London, knocking on (at least 3) doors whilst looking for a friend 🤔🤣

How would you not know which house your friend lived at?

This thread is more evidence for my campaign that Critical Thinking should be a compulsory subject in schools.

Indeed. Some people will blindly defend Harry, even though he is a proven liar. Maybe it's because he's a prince?
Baffling.

Honestly his ear isn't even an ear and the edge of his 'ear' and neck are one, yet people are so desperate to believe it.

This is what people look like on our video doorbell. I suspect most people find it amusing more than anything else rather than being invested to the point of convincing themselves its real. Knowing how litigious he is and how much of an own goal it would be for him to prove the papers right that they make up crap about him I don't see that the extra clicks would be deemed worth lying for them.

MrsEmmelineLucas · 10/05/2025 07:36

He's "more normal than the papers would care to have us believe".
Well, it's not really the papers so much as his own words and actions, really. I think we get a good picture, and a dash more.

Normal in the context of this story ofc. He’s ultimately a human.

I’m just interested in how it could be spun. It’s just so odd and random to knock on random people’s doors half a mile apart. The only thing that makes sense is the deepfake images others have said, so I’m waiting for it to come out as a fake. So bloody random 🤣

My first thought was AI, but surely they have some way of checking before publishing?

I just don't get why people are so invested in this.

Well as others have said because he keeps wanging on very publicly about his safety yet wandering round knocking on strangers doors doesn't seem a particularly safe thing to do.

Granted he wasn't kidnapped but if this is a snapshot of his reckless behaviour then it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out he is taking huge risks.

Of course he is. However, some people seem to think he's above criticism, because he's Prince Harry and anything negative is made up, or a conspiracy.
He's told us a huge amount about himself, that's his life choice, he seeks celebrity. He also likes to sue.
If this is false, I'm sure he'll take it to court.

It really is season 5 of the Windsors territory. If that’s where they’re up to.

I can just imagine it now. He would end up knocking on Pippah’s and she’d kidnap him as Johnny is out of town on business 🤣

Yep & they’d over egg it with a glimpse of someone unsavoury in crack of door. It does feel like a set up of sorts & timing is interesting. Let’s see what follows.

FriendsPlease · 10/05/2025 08:55

I wouldn’t have recognised him at all and would’ve been quite worried if I’d seen Harry on my doorbell camera. He looks so rough, with his blazer, no tie, huge phone and grim expression. I'd probably have thought he was a criminal and not opened the door.

Yes, he'll get his legal team on it, I'm sure.

Gloriia · 10/05/2025 08:56

If he gets in a car with a drunk driver and is hurt you can guarantee it'll be everyone else's fault.

Thedom · 10/05/2025 08:58

It does fit in with his modus operandi though.

The 'terrifying car chase' in New York, where they get out of a convoy and hop into a taxi with some random taxi driver, all three family members squashed into the back seat of a yellow NY cab. The trips to various very dangerous countries, where they accept favours from some dodgy people. The car ride through London with their windows rolled down.

Now Harry doing god knows what searching for an address on the streets of Fulham, although he kept this one quiet until the owners saw him on their door cam.

It's hard to believe this was at the same time as he was sitting in a courtroom and his lawyer was telling the court how his life is in danger in the UK and Harry subsequently telling the BBC he thinks his father wants him dead like his mother. (not in exactly those words but implied it)

Puzzledandpissedoff · 10/05/2025 09:02

Thanks to the courts and RAVEC, he now has to figure out addresses himself and order deliveroo rather than have someone run out and pick it up for him

I don't especially care about this one, @Thedom, but do just wonder if this was the point he was trying to make, as in "Just think what might have happened to me!!"

Maybe it'll appear in a future "documentary", only this time with the addition of a couple of guys lurking in the background with guns ...

Edited

He's a loose cannon isn't he. He is so full of resentment and bitterness, the only way to get his family's attention is to gossip to the media and now behave recklessly like this.

What on earth is his private security thinking?! Surely you confirm the address before you visit and check out the area etc as I thought protection folk would do Confused

Yes, he'll get his legal team on it, I'm sure.

Definitely. I’m sure he’ll win the case, what with it being false and everything, and when he’s asked why he didn’t know where his ‘friends’ lived or have their mobile number to call and ask them then there will be a perfectly innocent explanation. The fact he came to no danger whatsoever even after his claims there’s lurking everywhere for him will be put down to sheer luck.

You’d think so wouldn’t you? Which is why I find it all so baffling.

Also, these days if a friend or delivery driver is on your street but struggling to find your house they phone or text you and you can say, 'It's right near the end with the red car outside.' or 'I'll go into the front garden and wave at you.' We can see Harry has a phone. Was he visiting an actual friend or was this someone he didn't know well or at all?

CalicoPusscat · 10/05/2025 09:08

I don't know if it's fake or not, for me it's the concept of him wandering along a road in Fulham and getting wrong houses.

Really didn't know he was in the UK.

To paraphrase from The Windsors - He looks like a Real Estate Agent in Fulham.... like everybody else we know.

Ironically I think he’d be far happier at Savills etc, he’d fit right in.

Thedom · 10/05/2025 09:11

His lawyers/ closing statement, at the same time Harry was wandering up and down a street in London and ringing on random doorbells..

‘One must not forget the human dimension to this case. There is a person sitting behind me whose safety, whose security, and whose life is at stake.'

TroysMammy · 10/05/2025 09:13

Was he carrying an Amazon box with a procession of cats following him?

Why on the phone whilst simultaneously ringing doorbell? Is he speaking to the ‘housekeeper’ on the phone? Suggesting this is the right house?

Now that really IS a vile thing to say.
