Harry knocking on random doors in London

What a strange story! I’ve seen it being reported that Harry was wandering around a road in London, knocking on (at least 3) doors whilst looking for a friend 🤔🤣

How would you not know which house your friend lived at?

And I can’t imagine what kind of person would laugh at @Weepixie’s post given her subsequent explanation. I genuinely can’t.

Bet you also can't imagine what kind of person would make snide remarks and pile on a pair of people who dont live in their country, picking on everything they do or say. Speculating and gossiping abokt every inch of their lives. You must be in a permanent state of bewilderment

RTFT. And then apologise.

Only now reading it quoted again did I actually notice the whole “penis measuring “ comment!
rather an odd phrase to use towards women who don’t have a penis and certainly don’t measure them! 🤷‍♀️

Oh, I think that H&M will certainly ensure that he is treated as royal. Think how important the titles and status are to them. That's their identity.

I'm sure they’d love that, but how would it work? He’ll never be photographed alongside the wider royal family. No walking into Westminster Abbey with all the relatives for Kate’s carol service. No Christmas Day walk with the family, or royal garden parties. It’s a shame that King Charles doesn’t get to spend time with all his grandchildren like the late Queen did.

What will make Archie seem royal?

FriendsPlease · 12/05/2025 16:48

The only way Archie could gain that royal clout is if he attends a prestigious boarding school here or perhaps goes to Oxbridge, or another highly regarded British university.

Allseeingallknowing · 12/05/2025 16:49

I don’t think anyone has more than 16 bathrooms do they, unless they own a hotel or a care home!

FriendsPlease · 12/05/2025 16:51

I can imagine that he might end up going to Eton or somewhere similar. It would suit Meghan to quietly reintroduce him into the fold in a way that William can’t really prevent, and I suppose it could also be a way for the Sussex children to connect with their British heritage. Meghan doesn’t exactly strike me as the overly maternal type, so it could end up being a win-win for her and them.

Good question. They will, I would imagine, continue as they have begun. Ensuring the use of titles and deference, perhaps including the children on quasi royal events and tours. Making sure that they are promoted and hitting the headlines, of course. Much as now, only expanded.

True, that could work I suppose. But only until those kids hit their teens after which they'd rebel against such cringe inducing publicity 😆

Who knows! 😊! It's an interesting debate. However, they have called their daughter Princess Lilibet Diana for a reason, to quote someone on another thread!

Weepixie · 12/05/2025 16:54

Honestly folks, it’s fine. It’s very clear Spectre never for a moment expected my reply and rather than go away and compose herself/have a stiff drink to get over the shock of it, she instead made a fool of herself (once again) by showing how much my reply ruffled her feathers.

MrsSkylerWhite · 12/05/2025 16:29

Why a problem?

Surely Eton would be the last place H & M would want for Archie. It's right next to Windsor Castle, it's in the UK, Harry was a total misfit there, it's an ocean away from his American home/family and it's ultra-British and traditional, which Meghan would certainly object to.

I guess he'll go to American schools or an International School, but I don't see Meghan countenancing a school in the UK!

jeffgoldblum · 12/05/2025 16:55

I’m sorry to sound like the thread police but can we not go down the discussion of either families children please 🙏
I know the posters are discussing with good intentions here , but all it takes is the influx of other posters before it descends into insulting children and a deleted thread .

I'm virtually certain Eton wouldn't give Archie a place. They'd be concernedczbout the drama it might bring and how that would affect the whole school community.

A care home? Oh dear 🤣

A hotel - well with each of my children still having rooms at home for them and their children, and with at least one lot sometimes moving in with me and my son when times are tough for my son so they are company for all of us here, and with a normal family meal (anyone living under my roof is family) meaning 28 people sit down to eat then yes it does feel like a hotel at times 🤣. Im truly blessed. ❤️

MrsSkylerWhite · 12/05/2025 17:08

IdaGlossop · 12/05/2025 16:32

Why? Because if William has cut Harry off as we are told, it seems unlikely that he would welcome a direct channel from Eton to Montecito about George.

You think they’re training their child to inform on his cousin? 🤣

IdaGlossop · 12/05/2025 17:12

@MrsMrsSkylerWhite The thought had not crossed my mind. Do you think William would welcome his estranged brother 's child being at the same school as his younger son?

Weepixie · 12/05/2025 17:15

I doubt very much it would ever happen so it’s probably not even given a moments thought.

Well said Weepixie
Some would rather make a fool of themselves than take accountability for their posts and do the decent thing.

And it does sound very much like you are blessed 💐

Harry is so skint he couldn't possibly afford the fees for Eton. Says Harry.

Archie is a prince. It's not his fault. The British tax payer should foot the bill, along with his security.

foreverblowingbubbless · 12/05/2025 17:19

I would have thought the last thing in the Sussexes mind would be to send Archie to school in the UK 🤷‍♀️

Lol now the numbers of bathrooms is the new penis measurement hahah I cant ever imagine saying to someone like its something to boasting about that i have more bathrooms than a member of the rf 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I didn't think wealthy ppl behaved like that boasting over number of toilets, well certainly not those from old money

Edited

Yet again @Spectre8with your little comebacks at people you display your ignorance of how other people or cultures may live.

Harry has made it clear that he is not prepared to accept any of the duties of a prince while expecting all the perks. He made his decision to repudiate his family five years ago, and his behaviour since has made it impossible for them to accept him back. Put bluntly, he has made himself a complete liability to them. That's bad luck on his son, but it may not be the only thing about being Harry's son that is bad luck.

Why should we foot the bill for the son of a drone?

The fact that we do foot the bill for Harry's security provided that he is civil enough to say when he might need it seems to have been forgotten here.

Thank goodness! Sorry, Ida; I may be allowing the stupid people to get to me. Time for a cuppa, I think.
