Harry's new interview

Harry has just given an interview quite a long one. I only heard a snippet and i'm totally incensed. Harry has said he doesn't know how long Charles has left. Who says that on TV for the whole nation to hear. What is the matter with the man. He is an absolute disgrace.

Is that man still whining about s**t?

Give us a break.

LunaDeBallona · 02/05/2025 18:35

Harry has well and truly burned his bridges.
His father I’m sure loves him dearly but he cannot trust him- he warned him not to trash Camilla in his book, and Harry ignored that, as well as quoting personal, private conversations with his father.

William -l am convinced - has utterly washed his hands of Harry.
William is now Prince of Wales, is gearing up to be King and has moved on very sucessfully. Harry was always supposed to be William’s wing man when William became King. That now will not happen and The whole Royal family have shifted their focus and have moved forward without Harry - and Harry knows this.
William is a good mix of his parents - I think he will be very aware that Harry cannot ever ever be trusted again. In ‘Spare’ he revealed personal, private things about William and he sold his brother and sister in law down the river for 20 million pieces of silver . Harry will one day realise what he gained was not worth what he has lost.
He will remember the happy summers in Balmoral when he ran about with his cousins and wider family. He will see William’s family doing that with Anne’s grand children and The York sisters children.
William has the support of Lady Sarah Chatto, David Linley (Snowden) , the wider family of the Kent’s & Gloucesters and closer to him are Zara & Mike, and Peter Philllips.
Imagine how isolated Harry must now feel - and he did it all to himself.

Utterly irrelevant of Harry to ‘forgive’ his family members.
I don’t think they give a damn, want or need his forgiveness.
Harry is his own worst enemy.

RipleyJones · 02/05/2025 18:38

The judges in the court case he’s just lost, are called KC. Kings Counsel. They represent the King and his judiciary (were QC before Queen’s Counsel).

Pretty sure him talking to his dad, the king, during his ill thought out court case, would represent a conflict of interest. His dad couldn’t talk to him during the court case. He’s such a stupid stupid boy.

"He won't speak to me because of the security stuff".

Fuck me. How can you be so unaware. They are not speaking to you Hazza because you slated the entire family in an Oprah interview, in a Netflix documentary, and in your fecking book.

Dim and entitled. California are welcome to him.

Exactly! How dim and unaware can a person be?

viques · 02/05/2025 18:38

So, the “grievance” that wasn’t a legal argument. We’ve been here before haven’t we, remember the “car chase” that was more of a traffic jam.

( and the “jam” that is more of a syrup)

TotemPolly · 02/05/2025 18:39

I think the man doth protest too much !
He didn't cover himself in glory there . I don't think it will encourage his estranged family to welcome him back with open arms .

the80sweregreat · 02/05/2025 18:40

His just a lost cause isn’t he. It’s sad really , but he really needs to move on.

What a load of old cobblers. This “literally” didn’t happen.

@Viviennemary

My parents are the same age as Charles and not in good health. I’ve said the same thing about them. It’s simply a statement of fact.

It’s funny how someone so apparently unimportant and inconsequential lives rent free is so many people’s heads.

No, this “literally did happen. In Spare. See below.

He's literally just said his father...is standing in the way of making this happen, he could step in. He's blaming KC 🙄

SnoozingFox · 02/05/2025 18:21

Charles is 76 and will be 77 in November. He has also been receiving ongoing treatment for some type of cancer. A man born in the 1940s was expected to live to around 72-78 years, on average. He is elderly, however you want to slice it.

His grandmother hit 100, his mother 90 odd, his father 80 plus.

So Harry will never bring his family to the United Kingdom. Therefore he and his family should be removed from the line of succession; currently if William died during his reign, and George was under 18, Harry should be Regent.

Can’t have a Regent who won’t visit the country….

That can easily be changed if necessary.

When Charles became the heir the automatic regent should have been Princess Margaret and it was changed to Philip.

If George is still a child when William takes the throne I'd put money on them quickly drafting a regency act naming Edward as his regent as the next in line who is a working royal.

TheFluffyTwo · 02/05/2025 18:43

"sigh There's one in every family, sire. Two in mine, actually..."

Zazu nailed this one.

JSMill · 02/05/2025 18:43

He’s lobbing those toys out of his pram like grenades!
Brilliant!

PeggyMitchellsCameo · 02/05/2025 18:44

Happy Birthday Princess Charlotte!
(Quite happy George was born first but we’ve missed out on a spectacular Queen here!)

It really is not a shocking thing to say about an elderly man. The context is that Charles isn't talking to him, and that Harry wants to make amends because life is short.
I can't envisage any situation where I wouldn't talk to my children tbh, even if I didn't approve of the way they live or of their spouse. It must be absolutely awful for Harry that his father won't speak to him, but seems to have forgiven the horrific transgressions of his brother, Andrew.

His Brother did not attack King Charlles wife in a stupid book though did he.

Serenster · 02/05/2025 18:44

Hardcrustsfromnowon654 · 02/05/2025 18:27

What about Andrew’s housing?

Does the King have no power over that?

It’s all a bit convenient the way these things are organised!

The short answer is no, he doesn’t. Andrew has a lease with an independent body, the Crown Estate, that he paid a lot of money for.

Please tell me you’re not suggesting a constitutional monarch can breach someone else’s legal rights with impunity…?

babasaclover · 02/05/2025 18:44

I will never get over them allegedly moving to escape the press then selling their story for money. Such disgusting behaviour

PrettyFlyforaMaiTai · 02/05/2025 18:45

To be honest I can see why Charles won’t talk to him! Harry doesn’t have the best track record does he?

notgettinganyyounger · 02/05/2025 18:45

Kept saying he couldn't discuss certain things.
Sequel to Spare coming soon!

BashfulClam · 02/05/2025 18:45

Is it still treason to speculate on the death of the Monarch? You could lose your head in the days of Henry VIII for saying less.

I remember seeing an excerpt of the Ginger Whingers book and he said he was the most popular Royal..,,erm no pal. The Queen was always the favourite. I can think of at least 5 others I prefer. Anne, William, Zara, Wee Charlotte….

KilkennyCats · 02/05/2025 18:47

I remember seeing an excerpt of the Ginger Whingers book and he said he was the most popular Royal..
Did he really? 😆
The delusion really knows no bounds. He’s actually mentally unwell.

His arrogance, ignorance and sense of entitlement is astonishing. That big chip is very much still on his shoulder.

Tbf I think Harry made three reasonable points in his interview:

-when he says it’s strange that his security status fell overnight from one hundred to zero when they decided to leave! Surely some of the security threats relate to the fact that he is the son of the king and are nothing to do with his duties?

-when he said that RAVEC’s first step in the process was always coming to the palace to ask the RF what their requirements were?
People always seem to ignore the massive soft power and influence that the royal household has when they state this is an objective process.

-it’s apparent that you get a higher level of protection when the RF invites you to visit, but if you come for any other reason, you don’t. And that suggests to me, that the decision is not wholly based on risk alone.

CamillaMacauley · 02/05/2025 18:50

I don’t think giving more whingy interviews is the way to go about a reconciliation. Seems to be his MO now, interviews, publicity, bit of dirt slinging, professional victim.

Harry has shown himself to have a very loose relationship with the truth, and a complete inability to understand how the world works outside of his 'feelings'.

Why are you taking everything he said at face value?

PrettyFlyforaMaiTai · 02/05/2025 18:51

He’s just spitting his dummy out because he didn’t get his own way.

Let’s all laugh at Harry, let’s all laugh at Harry! Na na na na! Na na na na!
