Harry's new interview

Harry has just given an interview quite a long one. I only heard a snippet and i'm totally incensed. Harry has said he doesn't know how long Charles has left. Who says that on TV for the whole nation to hear. What is the matter with the man. He is an absolute disgrace.

Harry is a buffoon.

His every public utterance makes that clearer.

The Royal Family did an amazing job with his PR when he was a young man, but as an adult, he cannot seem to manage his own life. Must be the drugs…. Oh and the Godawful grifter he married.

He needs to fuck off for good. No one cares about him or his surrogate born children. His father has graciously allowed them to remain in the line of succession at great cost to public opinion.
He is tone deaf to the real problems of the world.

AuroraCake · 03/05/2025 00:29

I watched it all too. They just need to get over it. I want to make up. I should get what I want. What service he’s doing or ever did I don’t know. He was in the army. Went to some events and did some tours where he was well received. He isn’t saving lives, keep streets safe, educating the next generation.

I’ve just watched the whole interview on BBC iPlayer and Harry said that he still continues to serve his country. Does anyone know how he does this???

Good question.

I am reminded of that phrase about the similarly dim and entitled George W Bush: born on third base but thinks he hit a triple.

It really is not a shocking thing to say about an elderly man. The context is that Charles isn't talking to him, and that Harry wants to make amends because life is short.
I can't envisage any situation where I wouldn't talk to my children tbh, even if I didn't approve of the way they live or of their spouse. It must be absolutely awful for Harry that his father won't speak to him, but seems to have forgiven the horrific transgressions of his brother, Andrew.

I really don't think it's Charles not speaking to him. Harry has done alot to deliberately hurt them and act like a brat. It wouldn't shock me if it's all him.

I think they are all as bad as each other though and they all lie.

Perspective taking maybe in peoples relationships. We all know it. The family cannot be lying though because they haven’t claimed anything. Harry can, because facts can be rebuffed.

Wintersgirl · 03/05/2025 00:54

The minute Charles snuffs it Harry will be back like a shot.

Not if William's got anything to do with it.....

I don't understand what it is about the UK that makes him feel so unsafe? He has never quantified it. And also to (voluntarily) travel to Nigeria, Colombia and Ukraine, all of which are more dangerous places than the UK, but apparently that's fine. Bizarre.

The current RAVEC arrangements appear to be working though, as he looks alive and kicking to me!

He was fine to fly his wife and two children into London for the Jubilee celebrations and position themselves very prominently on the steps of St Pauls.

Beyond that MM was happy to fly in and address a very public conf One Young World in 2022 and stay on for the funeral. PH has been back to the UK on many occassions.

Why is the risk catasthrophic only now but not on those occassions - did he have zero security for himself, his wife and his children on those visits?

Still not a good excuse his priorities should be his children not other people. It a shame he was too spineless to say anything. The palace could have put a message out to the public asking for respect. Did they do that?

No wonder poor Harry had issues growing up.

I guess you have no experience of that time. It was hysterical.

The British public were lining up for hours in their thousands, weeping, to sign remembrance books for Diana all over the country, gathering outside Buckingham Palace demanding the Queen return there to show appropriate grief. A young mother was dragged through the streets of London on a gun carriage like some old war hero and people lined an actual motorway to throw flowers at her coffin.

Protocols went out of the window with Tony Blair's Princess of Hearts, the high melodrama of the funeral with Elton John singing in Westminster Abbey and Diana's brother emoting in his eulogy about being the princes' true blood family. The royals were booed.

There was serious media conversation about the monarchy being brought down. A few weeks previously, of course, the British public had been sniggering about Diana's sex life, disapproving of her giving up her charities and having an Arab boyfriend and sniffing about her leaving for America to be the next Jackie Onassis.

😂

DD is adopted. You have no idea about how dysfunctional families can be. Small children left alone for days. Inadequate food, nappies not changed, parents too drunk or high to provide any sort of care. Children getting themselves up to go to school in unwashed clothes, because at least at school someone will care about them and give them food.

'The most chaotic family in the UK'. No, not by a long, long, long shot

I wonder if any of those families have an Andrew?

I was 13 coming home from Ireland with my mum and brother at the time.

Let’s do away with them all in relation to their influence, power and lack of tax paying.

Are you suggesting a coup? Do you have someone in mind to lead it?

I ask because I’m not sure the polling currently suggests a great outcome for that tbh. Hence why most mild-mannered republicans like me don’t think the dismantling of the constitutional monarchy will happen in our lifetimes.

Entitled whinger- America are welcome to him and I hope he does have to pay all the costs for both sides. There are far more important things he could spend his time on

I feel sorry for King Charles & William

I'm sure Meghan will be getting out her flowers to sprinkle on something for him to welcome him home ....

Maybe her large shrub ?

foreverblowingbubbless · 03/05/2025 03:05

QuiteUnbelievable · 02/05/2025 23:26

@IBelieveinSomething so Charles is a hypocrite because he also wrote a book about daddy forcing him to go to Gordondstun etc?

Gordondstun ? What the heck are you talking about? Is that some ancient kingdom in Hamlet?

foreverblowingbubbless · 03/05/2025 03:11

Just when you think Harry cannot be more ridiculous he is. He is a big baby dumbass. He is weak, pathetic and selfish. His entitlement knows no bounds. If anything this would convince charities and institutions that he is a loose cannon who is unable to accept any accountability. I actually nearly feel sorry for Meghan trying to flog her spread and do her podcasts when Harry is there like this pouting and basically showing what a twat he is.

He turns up at the Invictus games a few days a year, all expenses paid, walks around, makes a speech or wife does. Though this is for servicemen of lots of countries not just UK.

he doesn’t do anything else.

He is confusing having a title with being a working member. Idiot.

QuiteUnbelievable · Yesterday 23:23

@pollyglot @spectre both coming at this from different angels I'm with spectre it's a valid question re he doesn't know how serious his dad's illness is.

Well, he might not know, of course. But would YOU speculate about your father's life expectancy in front of the world's cameras?
Truly?

countingthedays945 · 03/05/2025 03:31

He’s a tit! I wish he would bore off!

ChevronShoes · 03/05/2025 04:03

He’s trying to gaslight and bully the RF into giving him what he thinks he is entitled to. All the court cases, the interview, the books, the highest profile platforms he can find to make his buffoonery look like their fault.

It’s a pattern, we’ve seen it so many times before and she does the same. Leeches to people who she thinks are powerful but actually just want to exploit their stupidity.

He’s a walking man child and liability. He thinks by breathing he is serving the UK, he can’t accept that he’s no one without the working royals.

Why should KC speak to him when every word that is said and millions that aren’t, are just being saved up for the next tell all BS

She was stuck in a loveless marriage in the royal family all eyes were on her. If her husband showed her love she wouldn't have cheated. She was faithful to Dodi Fayed and made her feel loved. Diana was the nations favourite in the 80's and 90's. She was popular and the press wanted a piece of her until a tragic accident happened.

"Faithful to Dodi Fayed"? She was only with him for about a month. It has been claimed that she was only with him to make her great love Hasnat Khan jealous.
At the time of Diana's death there was quite a lot of criticism of her behaviour. I remember on the day she died that several of the Sunday tabloids were quite critical of her in the early editions of their front covers that had been published before the news broke.

No wonder Harry hates the papers

Beachwaves127 · 03/05/2025 04:17

What does he do day to day in the US with his time? Genuine Q does anyone knkw

Baital · 03/05/2025 04:23

When you are used to privilege, equality feels like oppression.

He's security trajectory is following that of his uncles and aunt, and cousins.

He isn't as special as he thinks he is/wants to be.

It was a godawful thing to say.
So, fairly typical of the ginger gobdaw.

People with Ginger hair do use mumsnet. You’re being called out here for using it as a derogatory term. Unacceptable.
