Harry's new interview

Harry has just given an interview quite a long one. I only heard a snippet and i'm totally incensed. Harry has said he doesn't know how long Charles has left. Who says that on TV for the whole nation to hear. What is the matter with the man. He is an absolute disgrace.

He’s not done yet by the way. He’s just released a 2-page statement.

Has he now officially lost the plot?

IBelieveinSomething · 02/05/2025 20:50

I am not a royal family sympathiser and i don’t like harry much. He has a point though. He didn’t choose his birth place. He might have been a bit brighter and not mentioned his kill rate which would have made his risk much less. But he is from an institution that doesn’t care for people who go outside because they are very dangerous to them. Better to not protect him from their perspective. I don’t envy him. And now that he is talking about it i don’t envy them.

FullOfLemons · 02/05/2025 20:50

Lots of people living in the UK, paying UK taxes wait months or years for justice yet our Courts make time to hear from this moron from California.

I feel so sorry for the King, and at heart I’m a republican.

I'll take 'asinine platitudes' over delusional paranoid rants any day of the week.

well you’ll get asinine and rictus smile a plenty from Kate, will and Charles et al
Harry is manifestly damaged because of hos dysfunctional upbringing

It wasn’t. You need to work on your clarity of expression.

Perhaps work on your reading skills…

Yep. That's an insane statement.

i hadn’t realised quite how thick he was until that interview tbh. I think he really struggled to understand the court case tbh.

Is William meant to be any smarter or does he just know when to shut up more?

William got decent A levels and a degree from a prestigious university, whereas Harry only scraped a B and D, allegedly with 'help'.

I don't think any of the royals are great intellects, William included, and as you say, most of them at least know when to shut up. But Harry is on another level of dimness, and it's obvious which of his parents he got that from.

His sister in law and father have had CANCER. And still this utter prick thinks it's all about him.

His father still has cancer. It's being treated.

I honestly don’t think the royal family or “the institution” want him dead

Also, not up to me to say. But I remember when Diana died and i thought at the time that it was only a matter of time before 1 or both of those boys (at the time) would reject the institution. Should have been both of them but William has much more to lose.

Helloworlditsmeagain · 02/05/2025 20:22

He should have been with his children and not allowing them to be paraded. I am starting to change my mind about Charlie. Charles would have have had someone in his team do all the funeral arrangements.

Edited

If my ex DH organised my funeral I’d be livid. This is why there was a delay. Diana was divorced. Earl Spencer had all the responsibility not the family she was divorced from.

None of us choose our 'birth place', and Harry's has been way more privileged than most.

But high level police security is not allocated because of 'birth place' but on the basis of comprehensive risk assessments. Harry gets all this. What exactly is the problem here?

ScribblingPixie · 02/05/2025 20:54

I feel that Harry's put his father in a position where he literally can't communicate with him because anything he does say or write may be published - or exaggerated or twisted. It's only the fact that the world knows that the king doesn't communicate with him at all that protects him.

wordler · 02/05/2025 20:55

Who does he think his audience is with the interview and now the statement?

His family are going to be worried, upset and furious with the way he is blaming and portraying him, and his level of delusion.

The government aren't going to indulge his paranoia.

His 'fans' aren't going to be able to make RAVEC or the government change their mind about his security.

You are wilfully ignorant.

I’ll never forget that Catherine and Charles were accused of being the royal racists via Scobie. And then both of them got developed cancer. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

Someone born in a position where they will need protection. I am not arguing for that just I can’t understand why you don’t understand.

LucyCheesey · 02/05/2025 20:57

So it’s ok for Meghan to cut off her family for posing for a paparazzi photo but if you go and give multiple interviews and write a book and sue your family then you’re surprised they cut you off? Weird

MixedFeelingsNoFeelings · 02/05/2025 20:57

Quite astonished at the logic of 'Well, his father is an old man with cancer - why shouldn't Harry talk to the media about his imminent death?'

If this is the way people think now, god help us.

Escapingagain · 02/05/2025 20:57

He left his job technically, his new one doesn’t come with security. What did he expect?!
Each interview he does has been about him. The royal family can’t comment on a lot of the accusations from Harry.
I expect Charles can’t talk to him because he keeps twisting conversations and selling his story!
The guy lives in a mansion I think if he wants to visit the uk pay for your security!
The more he says the worse he seems to make this situation.
Every family has issues most people wouldn’t throw them under the bus on opera for money!

Numberfish · 02/05/2025 20:47

If you had a toxic narcissist child like Harry, who goes to the world media to spin his spite every time he doesn’t get his own crazy way, I’m pretty sure your only option is to BLOCK.
I mean, how incredibly sick in the head do you have to be to expose your father’s health details to the world because you don’t win a court case. Literally blackmail. Harry is lower than scum.

And how selfish to behave like this while Charles is still having treatment.
He doesn't need this to deal with as well.

Anyone who knows the effects of long term cancer drugs, by having a family member going through it, appreciates the toll they take on your energy and mental health.

So what aren’t Anne, Edward and Sophie protected now 24/7? What weren’t they protected 24/7when Anne and Edward were the children of the sovereign?

What does he mean, in the third paragraph from the end, when he says “all this comes from the same institutions that… incite hatred against me and my wife”.
What institutions is he talking about? Because it sounds like he means the RAVEC, & the courts, and potentially the RF, because that’s who he’s talking about just before.
