Your opinion. My opinion. That's what it's like on a forum. Opinions.

And yes I would like to know what they are thinking.

No mine is a fact. It's not an opinion. If you count up the number of articles about him versus the number of public appearances with the Royal Family in the last year then the articles far exceed the appearances.

In aibu there is one on his security that descended into the awful lies about James Hewitt being his father!!!
I thought this had been laid to rest , but even arguing that it wasn’t true felt like slogging up a mountain!

I have a family member still subscribing to this one 🙄

As he gets older, Henry is becoming the image of C3.

Too true!

I have to say that the royal family are very lucky to have Harry. Just look at mumsnet for example, I have lost count of the amount of threads about him. Even an awful one about his children. Even saw the front page of a newspaper yesterday and he was front page.
no wonder no one cares about PA, Harry is all people want to talk about. He is the gift that keeps giving.

Omg yes! He keeps attention away from anything the royal family are doing. Or not doing. Which is often the case

He can't help himself. I just wish he'd learn to have a lower profile, a quieter life, but I guess that's not him. He just seems to seek controversy.

Yes! It’s very convenient indeed for some that stories about H & M have filled the airways for the past couple of years!

Yes, but to be fair, they've certainly provided content! They've not exactly chosen a low profile 😂

@jeffgoldblum I have never understood why people believe that rubbish.

I can understand it. You only have to read some of the comments here on various threads through the years. Some obscure claim is made about Harry, Meghan or both. It very quickly gets repeated as fact and so it goes on. Some spend hours every week on here regurgitating absolute rubbish. They are obsessed.
Yet mention what the Met said about the treatment of Meghan and it is largely ignored or dismissed.

Samcro · 04/05/2025 20:40

That is true, the amount of times someone will say in a post that they read “it” somewhere. Doesn’t matter what”it”is it becomes fact.
but then some people think the crown is factual.

the trouble is even if Meghan and Harry go quiet you get the where is Meghan threads.
I do think a thread about their children is awful.

Oh my god, don't start me on The Crown. How on earth can people think it's factual? It's such cringey tripe.
Harry and Meghan will never be low profile, that's who they are. That's actually not a criticism, because a lot of people choose a celebrity lifestyle. I think Meghan's hostessing show is going in the right direction, because it's not controversial and people will stop taking about it so much. Harry does need to dial it down, though.

Yep. Sart a thread about what the lives will be like for George Charlotte and Louis and it will be completely annihilated by various posters.
Yet it seems to be fine to talk about what Harry and Megan's children's lives will be like
There has been some really horrible posts lately I cannot be bothered to report them because MN wants them. Clickbait

Stripeyanddotty · 04/05/2025 21:36

You can just see how threads about George, Charlotte and Louis will go
George is shy and lacking in confidence - just like Charles
Charlotte is feisty, full of confidence, well able for the paparazzi- just like Anne; pity she’s not heir to the throne
Louis - another Harry in the making

It’s as ridiculous as the stupid tales about moon bumps and fake children!!!
personaly I find enough to critique without making up upsetting and disturbing stories!

Samcro · 05/05/2025 07:28

it seems now that Meghan hates Charlotte and her mum had to keep her away from M. it must be true as its been on mn..... people just make stuff up. others read it and it becomes a fact.

MadeInGrimsby · 05/05/2025 07:30

Meghan hardly knew Charlotte - she probably came across her a couple of times in her short stint as a working royal. I think stories involving children are very unpleasant.

Yep! By the looks of it Samcro people spend all day making up stories about Meghan’s inner thoughts and motivations!

They know her own mind better than she does apparently… .

Just watching the march pass. Nice to see the royal family talking to veterans.
those are 3 well behaved children

MadeInGrimsby · 05/05/2025 13:30

It's really nice, and it's good to see the veterans so engaged with and respected. Lovely event.

Samcro · 06/05/2025 12:40

i did find the BBC coverage interesting. the made a point of mentioning Harry. and saying that the RF will won't want the Harry stuff distracting from the event.
so why mention him.....
maybe they read mn and realise he needs to be mentioned even when he isn't there.

I wasnt able to watch much of it, only the bits on the News. Do I assume Andrew didn't show his face?
Bet that pissed him off if so

Personally I think both Andrew and Harry should have their titles taken away.

I also find it ludicrous that two children, who are unlikely to live here are Prince and Princess.

It would imo have been better for the DCs to have gone down the Edinburgh route and just had them as a Lord and Lady. I think that’s more 21st century.

Is it the Danes or the Swedes who have got rid of titles for grandchildren of the monarch apart from those in direct line. I think that’s a good precedent but I’d love to see Andrew’s face if Beatrice and Eugenie had the Princess removed!

I think its the Danes, but yes, I agree they should have done it too (Frankly, Id have just George, and have non heir males the same as non heir females- no titles/HRH for children at all. The Late Queen should have done this when she got rid of Primogeniture- she knew Charles had spoken about it) Harry has left the RF and isn't meant to use his HRH title anyway, so why haven't they got rid? It needs to be done before the Wales kids grow up and get married to avoid the Harry situation of making it personal and seemingly about particular children/their race. I suspect William doesn't want the title stripped from his own kids/grandchildren, so its all gone quiet.
The Edinburgh's are entitled to use the Prince/Princess if they want. That's the problem. People like Harry and Andrew will always want them, but the ones who choose not to are normally the more sensible. The choice needs to be removed.

NewAgeNewMe · 06/05/2025 15:08

Yes I agree. The Edinburgh route is more sensible and they are entitled to the royal titles. George’s DCs only to have the royal titles. Streamline it is more 21st century. IMO others are available 😁

Yes, fortunately. Nowhere in sight. He must have been fuming.

It must be disappointing for some that Andrew wasn't there yesterday 😂
