Also, some Commonwealth countries were never in the British Empire, but joined subsequently for the benefits.
It's a bit like calling the EU the Holy Roman Empire 2.0.
Such ignorance.

They also don’t HAVE to join and can leave anytime they want. Only 4 have, but 2 rejoined

Absolutely. They're not colonies. They are independent nations.

Is there an equivalent Wales squad? I’ve seen some suggest there is?

I’ve said before like a pp that if the sexes were reversed everyone would be able to say this is emotional abuse. It’s clear as day. Ex family solicitor.

Lady Colin Campbell seems to lead a small pack of Wales fans who, just like the Sussex Squad, are mostly hateful to the “other side”.

But I think we can dismiss Lady C - who has no right to use that title and has delusions of grandeur - as a prize cunt. She’s obsessed with the theory that Meghan used a surrogate. This is clearly bullshit, coming from a renowned bully. I’ll never forget her time on IACGMOOH she was pure evil and nasty

RanyaJerodung · 05/04/2025 08:27

I agree with you about Lady Colin. The whole surrogate conspiracy is just nonsense.

I remember when they did the photoshoot after Archie was born, DH pointed out that she was walking the same way I did a few days after I’d given birth. The postpartum walk is 100% a thing. She also had the fuller ‘pregnancy’ face (which b much suited her). Absolute tosh, Lady C is a truly awful human for peddling this claptrap.

I also recall him snapping back when an interviewer ( can’t remember his name ) suggested they give up their titles . Ouch.

It was Anderson Cooper and the answer was "And what difference would that make?"..... if you ask me it would make quite a difference.

Edited

I felt for Meghan! In the white dress and high heels! My face got very full like that, and Meghan clearly had a post partum bump. I would disregard anything Lady Colin says.

I agree. Meghan had the physical appearance of pregnancy.

Surely the obvious answer is “Free you from the shackles of the institute you say you were a prisoner of”. But Harry isn’t bright enough to grasp this really

RanyaJerodung · 05/04/2025 08:34

The only thing I've heard is that they had ivf as Meghan was a bit older, which allowed for embryo screening. Their baby, though.
Maybe they did, it doesn't really matter. Definitely their babies and she was definitely pregnant!

MargaretThursday · 05/04/2025 08:35

Mylovelygreendress · 05/04/2025 08:14

I am not sure either of them have the capacity to self reflect!

I suspect that see the lies as a necessity to get what they want.

I knew someone who admitted they put out lies on social media because they saw it as necessary to get the result they wanted. They said people would remember the original lie even if they had to apologise publicly so it was "a fair way to fight".

Edited as my autocorrect and me do not agree.

The speed at which she got pregnant post wedding would indicate not. IVF takes time.

I doubt this is true. She was only 36 and 38 IIRC when she got pregnant - around the same age as the Queen when she had edward. They also hadn’t been married that long when she fell pregnant, 3 months maybe? I think IVF takes much longer generally

Good points, I'm just saying where maybe some of the rumours came from. If they did, it's not a problem anyway.

Maybe it was a back up plan. I did wonder when William and Catherine married (as they I think had a couple of years just the 2 of them) if there were contingencies in place in the event of them not being able to conceive a child naturally. I bet someone in the palace has the job of thinking these things.

Profhilodisaster · 05/04/2025 08:42

It just astonishes me that they have made a monumental cock up of just about everything they've done. They had everything one could wish for- money, status, free houses , good will of millions of people , advisors, family, countless opportunities and they've destroyed it all.

RanyaJerodung · 05/04/2025 08:45

I have read about many celebrities doing this - they have ivf to screen the embryos and often have the choice to have twins and/or the order in which they have the sex of the children. It's just another pre natal stage for the very wealthy.
The surrogacy accusations are quite serious because they could take Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet out of the line of succession.

I know that Sophie and Edward had fertility treatment (I think IVF) - that's not gossip, she has been very open about her problems conceiving and having successful pregnancies. She nearly died when Louise was born.

Yes poor Sophie had a horrific birth, I remember reading about it and being horrified at the time. I think she was a bit older too?

They literally waited until.after the queens 60 jubilee, so like a year and then got pregnant.

Yes, 38 and 42. She'd previously had an ectopic pregnancy.

They don't listen to advisors. And usually you have a person with the talent and all those people around them with the business and PR know how. They don't listen and they have no talent. It's basic really.

Certainly a lot of celebrities seem to have boy/girl twins and I have wondered about embryo screening in those cases.
I've never bought the idea that Meghan wasn't pregnant with Harry's and her children - one of the madder conspiracy theories.
Mind you, there's a poster here who pops up occasionally saying she is/was a midwife and, because of her midwife-y skills, absolutely knows Meghan wasn't pregnant 🙄

Yup!
