I mentioned this in the Sentebale thread, but in what universe is this entire brand not directed aimed at rich, white, Republican women? The branding is supposed to evoke a sort of colonial romance for aristocracy, and the "vibe" of that appeals to a specific type American women who love the kitsch and romanticisation of royalty. Can definitely see it doing well among Mormon wives who take pride in homemaking, have lots of disposable income and are also extremely conservative and religious.
Not a shred of the branding or product range is designed to appeal to liberal feminists, immigrants, creatives, LGBTQ+ community, GenX or GenZ. It's not cool in the slightest. There are plenty of food brands that are more inclusive or at least more fun with their branding. As Ever is literally so trad wife, so conservative and flies in the face of everything Meghan (allegedly) stands for. For someone who was so vocal about racism and ethnicity, the cuisine featured is so clearly white. They assume that's the food their ideal consumer loves to eat which simultaneously rules out a huge segment of society. The vast majority of Asians, Latinos and black Americans do not make delicate french crepes with raspberry spread for breakfast.
It's like she's trying to appeal to Trump's America in all ways possible without actually coming out and saying it. She's turned into a trad wife, her fame is solely due to marriage, her husband is a prince who lives off money he didn't earn and she peddles the kitchiest homemaking content to conservative fans.
