I’m feeling very attacked actually.

If you think so then report 🤷‍♀️

BemusedAmerican · 07/04/2025 12:45

Well, thanks to the recent tariffs, I'm saving money since my employer is impacted lack of tourism dollars. I do buy expensive local honey for health reasons, but jam is just not my jam. I know someone who has already been laid off

Everything’s a bit precarious right now, it’s the smart thing for everyone to save. Sorry about your friend who’s been laid off.

I genuinely don’t see the pricing as a rip off. Is it not comparable to those on the royal collection shop?

No Megan's is about double. Plus money made from.the kings jam goes to charity.

Snorlaxo · 07/04/2025 13:16

This looks like a good deal

I'm going soon. I will stock up! On spread - no although perhaps there's an e bay market for crazed squaddies in the UK who couldn't get their fix of their heroine? I will fill my suitcases 😂😂

Some might argue that Harry and Meghan the multi millionaires don't need the money either.

No that's why it's going to charity. Megs carnt come up with an original idea that's why she's jumped on the jam. The royals have been producing jam and honey for decades to raise money. The king and Kate have kept bees foryears, and the king has always been keen on gardening since childhood. Megs needs to be original not jumping on the bandwagon thinking she can do it better. News flash she carnt

Snorlaxo · 07/04/2025 13:17

And this

One of these days I going to buy that jam, it sounds really delicious. Might actually put it on my Christmas wish list for a present.

That is, the Highgrove strawberry and champagne jam.

I wonder why she didn’t spend some time coming up with some interesting flavour combinations (with professional help if needed) for her jam/spreads. If you go on some of the high end shops (aka food-halls) there are some really tempting flavours of jams and marmalades.

BemusedAmerican · 07/04/2025 13:31

I've said for years at this point that H & M should listen to qualified financial advisors and consider an online business degree.

Reetpetitenot · 07/04/2025 13:41

Just realised those jars of raspberry spread are only 215g, for $14. That is feckin' extortion for mass produced fruit spread. Her fans must be very gullible.

No, which is why the profits go to charity.

Reetpetitenot · 07/04/2025 13:46

I note the Highgrove strawberry preserve is 62% fruit, which is high, and that the As Ever product doesn't seem to specify fruit content.

BemusedAmerican · 07/04/2025 13:46

There are also online degrees in project management. They should qualify for instate tuition at a Univerity of California program.

Meghan could even do an MBA, having already a degree from Northwestern and some experience in business.
Harry had abysmal exam results, even though he went to one of the finest schools in the world. One of his tutors was Rory Stewart. He’s a lost cause. He needs all the work done for him. Didnt his art teacher cheat in an exam for him?

No Megan's is about double. Plus money made from the kings jam goes to charity.

And the provenance of the Highgrove products is known, and sounds attractive - Transylvanian wildflower meadow honey, from a place where the King loves to walk, Highgrove orchard honey from royal bees on the Highgrove estate.

I haven't looked at M's website, but I doubt she can personalise her products in that way.

The late Queen kept bees too - I remember reading that her beekeeper told them that she had died, as one is supposed to do.
