Markle's logo is similar to the logo on the back of the crew jackets for Madonna's Blond Ambition tour.

Is there anything original about this woman?

Todger
Your post sounds disbelieving
Who on this thread claimed she was like a serial killer???

Or maybe shocked? I can’t help how you interpret my posts I’m afraid.

Extiainoiapeial · 21/03/2025 12:06

Shocked? No.

Someone who sounds cynical about something I've said and putting lots of ??? in their post makes me think they don't believe what I'm saying.
Luckily me and others have shown you it was said so nothing more to say on it.

Luckily I don’t really care how you interpret my posts 🤷🏻‍♀️ put whatever spin on it to suit your agenda.

glitterturd · 21/03/2025 12:09

Let's be honest the note was a bit stalkery under the guise of fun and kindness while aiming for publicity. It reminds me of when people say " we see you".

glitterturd · 21/03/2025 12:13

'Meghan is at a crossroads. The well of sympathy she once drew from is running dry, and the PR playbook of handwritten notes and “authentic” vulnerability is starting to feel like a well-rehearsed script. The noise is deafening, but the signal—the compelling reason for her continued relevance is fading'

Extiainoiapeial · 21/03/2025 12:14

Agenda? That's really funny 🤣

Posting on a thread with a different opinion to some posters = an agenda 😂

I must remember that one!

I don't understand why M didn't respond on Insta, or not at all. Private notes, don't stay private. The podcaster really lacks decorum, but so do Megs and Harry. Why do they bother commenting at all?

As I’ve said if you care to read my posts it’s the bullying claims I have issues with, that’s the agenda on here, not a difference of opinion, hopefully you can remember that as well going forward.

But you’re not posting a different opinion. You are calling out others for bullying.

Hysteria?

Are you alright?

Not2identifying · 21/03/2025 12:28

I'm bored of talking about talking about it so I won't address that debate.

The note itself, it's an interesting one, isn't it? She has a genius for doing things that can be interpreted in wildly different ways. It's hard to tell if it was an impulsive action, driven by anger. But, if so, why this person and not others who have made similar comments?

That makes me think more that it's a strategy. If she thinks the note is humorous, she could be trying to have a bit of a joke, knowing that the person she sent it to would publicise it and building her more whimsical, joyful persona. And choosing to do it on monogrammed paper would obviously wind up her critics, gaining her more attention.

My own instinctive reaction was that this is not what celebrities normally do so I was taken aback. It seems a bit...undignified. But American humour and British humour are famously different so it could have landed better there.

I was on the DM home page late yesterday and this was really far down the page. I do think her general trajectory, despite the debate here on MN, is that she's getting less attention from the MSM than she has done in the past. So doing things that are 'attention-seeking' might now be part of her stragegy and planning because she needs attention to monetise her influencer status.

Yes, it's bullying.

In my opinion

Hope you're able to go forward yourself! 😂

AtIusvue · 21/03/2025 12:31

Meghan fans can only accuse others of bullying….they never have anything positive to say about Meghan on these threads. Which when you think about it….is bullying by omission isn’t it.

I will be here for the duration for sure no matter how many times the word bully is thrown about. Anyway I’m off to walk my dog, with any luck I will bump into Meghan and steal her dinner money.

I think you're twisting yourself into a pretzel there Wink
I don't have anything positive to say about her really, I think she's entitled (literally), pompous and self promoting. I am definitely not a fan. But the criticism of her goes way too far, IMO. And yes, tips into bullying. Which makes me want to defend her Confused

You obviously didn't read my post when I talked about her positively. And also what I didn't like.
You made no comment on it.

Shall I repeat what I posted? I spoke positively of her NF series, her clothes, her strength

So don't say 'they never have anything positive to say about Meghan on these threads'.

The note was dated March 2025 but the podcaster was discussing the NF trailer which was released back in Jan where the podcaster said:

'I understand that some people think she's inauthentic. I get that. I'm so scared for her that this Netflix show will make those claims stronger. From the trailer, it looks like it might'

Why has MM taken 2 months to send a note and why are posters here suggesting that the podcaster's assessment of the trailer are positive for MM?

New PR person...mostly old script.

I am not a fan BUT...
Why do you care
YOU are the bullies
Racism

And the debut of the "Wales" Squad.

Dear oh dear. I wonder if the new PR person will last the year?

Calling others out for bullying isn’t wrong, we should all do that. If Meghan has bullied others then she should be called out for that, but to persistently make sarcastic comments about jam or her looks and pick apart everything she ever does for the rest of time, that’s bullying.

Edited

I dont think that persistently making sarcastic comments about jam or picking apart everything she does is bullying.

She is a brand and commericial enterprise selling products (TV shows, food products) and every consumer has the democratic right to personally critique any service or product. That is not bullying otherwise we might as well close down Trip Advisor, Google Reviews, Trust Pilot etc.

I do draw the line at criticising her looks thats unacceptable - but not her clothes - she monetises them so they are a product and fair game.

So I dont get that you can equate consumer reviews with the repeated reports of workplace bullying by Meghan Markle inflicted on or witnessed by dozens of staff over many years and in multiple settings. Harassing and hounding people from their jobs and causing such mental distress that others needed to seek professional help to recover is very serious and appalling bullying abusive behaviour that no one should have to endure.

Why the "If Meghan has bullied others..." - are the legally watertight, separate and independent investigations over the years from Vanity Fair (last month), The Hollywood Reporter and Access Hollywood (last year), The Times, Courtiers (Book by Valentine Low) etc not enough? Are all of these victims personal testimonies dismissed and invalid? What happened to hashtag 'we believe you' etc?

I think this is an interesting point. In a funny way, it’s quite likely that Meghan having an instagram account and posting on it regularly will actually mean that the MSM cover her less. When she appeared in public rarely and direct coverage was scarce, they knew that stories about her would get lots of clicks. But now yet another story about how she’s posted something about her garden will be less of a drawcard, and hence less likely to be covered in future. So it will be interesting to see where her instagram content goes.

glitterturd · 21/03/2025 13:14

She has posted a partial one of Lili in the garden picking strawberries.

Thedom · 21/03/2025 13:46

Tracy Anderson, fitness guru to hollywood stars, best buddy of Gwyneth Paltrow, posted a video of a recipe she developed for Goop Kitchen, she started the video saying 'welcome to my actual kitchen'.

The sussex squad have come out of the woodwork to attack her, 'bulllying' Meghan Markle, 'mean girl' 'cutting another woman down' etc. etc. exactly the same playbook as happens in this little corner of MN.

Yes and the posts themselves….her in the garden…picking something. There’s only going to be so many that people will want to look at.

It starts to look like she doesn’t get out much.

Aspirational living has to be more than just the kitchen and garden.
