Your choice for Head of State?

If you could have anyone in the world as the UK Head of State who would you choose?

I would choose Michelle Obama. Incredibly bright, passionate and well connected woman who is used to talking to world leaders.

I'm not exactly a fan of the royals and whatever their faults, the military records of Philip, Charles, William and Harry can't be denied
Philip, Harry and yes Andrew all served in combat

Personally, I'd agree. He's actually very "Worldly Wise" and comes across really well when he's not "play acting" on the TV (which is of course, all a scripted act).

I have heard from numerous sources that harry was very much protected and kept safe and was in zero danger whatseover
Charles I'm failing to see anything of any note at all?
He qualified to fly then was promoted to , I don't know, chief magic amazing royal person.
Then after 5 years he left
William qualified to fly and spent a few stints on rescue- hardly worthy of his rows of shiny things.

Sadly one of them, Rick Parfitt, died a few years ago. Only Francis Rossi is still with us.
(But double tax relief on double denim.)

I have read accounts from people who served with Andrew during the Falklands war and they say he was kept far, far away from any dangers.
OTOH, he was much closer to the throne atthat time, then, second after Charles, but it would also depend on when William was born. (1982?) As after that he would be third in line.
