Wow the fresh prince of Montecito?.....Interesting...why would he be described as that?

Maybe he's updated this master lesson in cringeworthy moments?

elessar · 08/03/2025 11:15

@FromTheOfficeOfJammyTodger yeah I didn't mean it was in reaction to that, more that if in early 2025 her passport name is still Markle then it would be bizarre to be claiming in spring 2024 that her surname is Sussex, as it clearly isn't.

On a completely different point, I wonder whether they try and insist the kids are titled Prince and Princess at school and nursery - perhaps the American school system would have no truck with that though.

For those of us who refuse to watch it can we thumbs down on Netflix and give them the feedback they deserve?

I think that;s unfair if you haven't seen it

Thedom · 08/03/2025 11:16

Reddit can be taken with a pinch of salt. however there are some posters who really do some deep dive investigative stuff and are rarely wrong and who post their evidence, I often wonder if they are ex friends or ex employees with a grudge, to have such inside knowledge and have the proof.

You can see how the Sussex Squad were emboldened to operate the way they do in Meghan's name when you see how she love bombed those troubled teenage fans.

So Meghan resurrected these teen superfans, now in their 20's, to help promote her Netflix show on Tik Tok, there are no boundaries to her manipulation.

I wish I could do a class where you learn to chop properly. My ds works as a kitchen porter while going through university and he laughs at my knife skills!

there are real life knife courses you can do but also lots of tutorials on youtube if you want to have a go

It was Reddit that found the As ever TM application and questioned if this was Megs new business. They were right.

Oh. Just realised it's Archie, not Harold.

Still. It's nice to revisit forgotten nuggets of joy, as ever 🙂

Wow! That story about the TikToker is dreadful. To be contacting a child (who you know is a child) online is … not great. To be constantly (and the evidence I’m screen shots is there) engaging with these kids as a fan base shows a dreadful lack of judgement.

It also explains a lot about the kind of comments left here and elsewhere by the die hard Meghan stans. Extremely emotionally immature language., lack of cultural knowledge and hysterical hype. It all makes sense now!

How can she stand on her soap box and preach about internet safety for kids when she has broken the most cardinal rule. Adults should not be engaging in personal friendships online with children at this level of personal engagement. What the F did she think she was doing?

And yet she gets away with it yet again, she never faces any consequences for her appalling and in this instance, completely inappropriate behaviour. The saying used to be in the event of nuclear war, two things will survive, cockroaches and Cher, I think Cher is now doomed like the rest of us.

One armchair psychologist pointed out that, from their unit of 4, she is the only one who is not a prince, a princess, a birth (blood) royal or anyone of royal significance outside of her marriage. Her use of "Sussex" is solidifying her belonging to royalty should ether Harry divorce her or the RF remove the titles.

glitterturd · 08/03/2025 11:39

I've actually had a look at one of those young women's instead and indeed Meghan was posting to them from over 10 years ago when they were very young .

Serenster · 08/03/2025 11:39

The bit about using your titles as your surname that I think Meghan hasn’t got, is that is used when you’re not using your title.

So, Deborah Cavendish, nee Mitford, who was the Duchess of Devonshire, referred to herself as “Deborah Devonshire” when she was signing letters and cards etc in a relatively informal way. Or other people would refer to her as “Deborah Devonshire” in their letters and diary entries. But her title was The Duchess of Devonshire. And if she used that, she had no need of the “first name - surname” formula.

Meghan has adopted the style “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex” for most things she has done. So calling her “Meghan Sussex” would not generally be coming from her. She’s presumably expecting everyone who has previously referred to her as Meghan Markle to adopt this new surname? I would have thought she’d prefer they refer to her as the Duchess of Sussex still, though.

When the internet truly was the Wild West, and they probably shouldn't have been online. So much for the Parent Network and protecting children from interaction with stranger adults. So much for the Parent Network and not allowing your children to become emotionally overwhelmed by online activity. Those girls (and they all looked really young, still) looked hysterical.

One of the posts on this girl's insta. 😳

@FromTheOfficeOfJammyTodger that's awful. She's a total hypocrite. I wish a respectable journalist would pick up on this.

Meghan won't go anywhere near a proper journalist. The exposure would be devastating.

glitterturd · 08/03/2025 11:50

It is indeed shocking to see this kind of thingwhen M and H sat preaching about this kind of thing on the Parents network interview.

Yes, she needs to cling on to that.

Good points

One of the girls says in her TikTok that she had no internet restrictions…

The girl on the left is how Kate should rightly have greeted her on first meeting.

FromTheOfficeOfJammyTodger · 08/03/2025 11:53

@glitterturd is that post a recent one or from years back? Was MM (an adult) sending messages to these girls when they were children?

AtIusvue · 08/03/2025 11:57

Meghan was 30 I think when these girls were early teens13/14. They then ran her fan club.

The pic above is from 3rd March at the NYC As ever event. Meghan gave them all gift bags- Inc Tig wine. They were all wearing swiftly style bracelets….even Meghan. It’s like a mini cult. These women are unwell.
