I couldn't sit through all of that, and haven't seen WLM or the Drew interview, but I did just watch enough of this to see Meghan refer to Harry as "H" repeatedly. I'm actually shocked by that. Who goes on TV and refers to their husband by their initial and/or their private term of endearment? It was so awkward, too. The name is easier to say in a sentence than "H", repeatedly.
And, given how much she's said about his family over the years, I am willing to bet that referring to him as "H" is to put him on an even lesser footing than his relatives who she has always referred to as "his grandmother", "his father", "Kate", "your brother", "Fergie", never by their actual names or their titles (such as the one she introduces herself with). It's always been done to ram home that she's one of them (inside the royal family), and that they only matter as relatives of hers rather than as individuals in their own right.
And now she wants to be known as Meghan Sussex!
Seeing her now, after this many years of marriage and on national TV, referring to her husband as "H" is very, very creepy. It's very diminishing. I big my husband up in public, I don't reduce him to the role that he plays in my life with nary a name. It really is all about her. Diana said she thought there were three people in her marriage. I wonder if Harry feels there's only one person in his marriage!
