I recall a fad in the '90s for a double walled bowl where you could fill the space with water and edible flowers, freeze the whole thing then have an ice bowl with which to wow your friends.

Well I went in fully prepared to give the benefit of the doubt...... but f**king hell 😱 stopped after two episodes and that's an hour of my life I'll never get back. Absolutely dreadful, sorry I bothered!

Meg isn’t bitter at all that she got an A- for handwriting at school because she said she took the minus for a little bit of character.

So I’m guessing after reading the tv reviews….she could be described as characterful.

I think this is one of the best bits of today’s media reviews.

I haven’t watched any of it, it’s entertaining enough just reading here and the uk media to give me the gist of it all.

Some of the top tips almost seem beyond laughable as though someone is doing a comedy sketch of it all. How can she be so shallow and narcissistic to think that her tips and content include anything of any note that people would genuinely be inspired by?

At least the real deal people such as Ina Garten, Pioneer Woman etc actually know about their craft and do impart useful insights. Whether you like Nigella or not, she does as well in a slightly kitsch way.

It’s strange because in these episodes Meg is saying she has created these dishes for her friends specifically in mind.

But every Ep is a rinse repeat of the same stuff that clearly she will be selling-

• flax hearts
• Jams

It’s just one long advert.

You can get bee's wax from your local beekeeper so you can make scented bee's wax candles when a friend comes to visit.

I’ve watched snippets of a few episodes because I’m off work today. It’s too boring to sit through a whole one. Baffled by the children’s party with no children!

It is all very lovely to look at but my god it seems in poor taste. It’s a very rich woman crowing about her wealthy lifestyle and how simply wonderful she is. I’ve never watched a cooking or lifestyle show before that is so much about the host. Yes we get to know Jamie, Nigella etc. but their shows focus on what they’re making. In this the food and crafts are just accessories to highlight Meghan. It’s shockingly narcissistic and outside of her core fanbase I can’t see who it’s for?
