They're at their best when slightly warm from the pan. My family were suffering a bit from being seen as 'outsiders' in the neighbourhood but one woman took pity and went round to show my grandma how to bake welsh cakes. And they formed a friendship and after that my family was more accepted. So they have lovely associations in the Spanakopita household.

I'm going to get all my kids round and make some on Saturday, instead of pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. Maen bendigedig!

@MummyJ12 yes it's sinister but it is also extremely common with narcissists. I've had the misfortune to be related to one and subsequently worked with a few. They always have an individual in their sights. Often it's someone they've tried to lovebomb and that failed, so they decide to take the person down instead.

That chap in the photo that @Mylovelygreendress dress posted looks like he was slightly unbalanced by that hug and had to use the worktop to steady himself!😀

To be nit picky for a moment, that "blooper" reel isn't actually bloopers it's just shots behind the scenes. Not blaming Meghan for that just pointing out that the press are mislabelled it.

If it is true that she didn't have the permission of everyone featured to post that is very amateur indeed, it's basic.

Of course! I love bloopers, of any kind. I suspect though that Meghan wouldn't want us to see the real bloopers. It's a pity because that kind of thing really humanises people.

The other thing I would say is whilst I do think there have been many "coincidental " releases / visits etc round about those of the RF from the Sussexes, in this instance Meghan's show does start on Tuesday so releasing lots of posts (content to one side for a moment ) in the immediate run up to that isn't all that surprising to me.

I have many criticisms of Meghan , but I do try to be fair 😊

where I do have sympathy for Meghan is her timings in interactions, she hardly ever matches those she's with energy. It's either a delayed response, oh are we meant to be clapping or as this video showed it's not reciprocated. It's just feel she's too much in her own head on how she should be behaving that it's so unnatural looking. I cannot understand how she watched and edited that without noticing the two blokes looked pretty bored to be there.

I do not understand pancake mixes, whether a flat or raised pancake it mixing dry and wet, that you still have to do with a kit.

I think better timing of this particular offering would be following the release of the show. You usually see this kind of thing after not before something airs.

Why is she barefoot in a kitchen? Ugh.

She's trying to come across as quirky and 'adorkable' but it just looks so contrived after everything that's come out over the past 5 years.

I walk barefoot in my house all the time. I don't eat off my floor. Infact walking barefoot is actually good for your feet. I even shock horror walk barefoot in my garden too and back into my house. I'm still healthy and alive 🤪

Lots of people do it. We are not trying to be contrived or quirky.

I am not a baker but even I can make pancakes from scratch. Each to their own though.

IME secure and accomplished people don't need to behave like this because they recognise their own worth as well as that of others, whereas those with less reason to feel confident in themselves tend not to

It's a shame really, because I'm sure Meghan has some skills which might have fitted her for a very different kind of life - just not this one, which she so clearly can't hack

Not everyone wants to buy ingredients individually. Whats so hard to understand. When I lived alone I wouldn't buy pancake ingredients separately for just one day a year. I don't eat them regularly either. I don't also need a packet of flour sitting in my cupboard when I won't use it up. Not even a small packet.

It's also cheaper to buy a mix then all the ingredients separately esp if you aren't going to use them for other things.
