I'm also suspicious of such round figures, and don't believe that Harry is 'getting $1 million' from that coaching app he shills for.

Was anyone else a little cringed out by the insta caption about Harry ‘changing people’s lives’?

Id argue he ideally wants the income of his brother especially if he wants the charity/philanthropy image as donors are not going to subsidise Archewell forever. William has a billion pound investment generating his income and paid security. He is going to need at least a couple of hundred million to generate his cost which are quickly going to increase as his children become independent

There's a lot of talk about their 'lifestyle' but to me it doesn't seem that great.

Yes they travel by private jet but that's just a posh way of getting from A to B.They don't seem to go on many luxury holidays or glamorous parties. Her clothes are mostly by mid range designers and are probably given to her for free. Quite a step down from the custom couture she wore as a royal. Yes, they have a big house in an exclusive area but it all seems a bit soulless.

Someone purporting to be an IP lawyer (who knows) says that As ever clothing can easily apply for a TM by demonstrating that they have been trading under that name, eg: a receipt of something sold. I’m not sure if that would only apply to the NY state or all the US though.

‘The NY company can still file for the trademark. All they need to do is figure out one early date (any date before today, actually) where a single person from our of state (NJ?) bought one of their products. That gives them the "use in commerce" basis for the trademark. P.S. I'm an IP attorney. This is basic stuff."

So all the clothing company need to do, is apply for the TM and show the date of commerce as the date that something was first sold (which was years ago) Meghan hasn’t sold anything yet.

I think it was a 4 book deal so we have had Spare and The Bench ( remember that??). It was rumoured that Meghan was writing a memoir but who knows .

I read that ( pre Megxit) Harry had suggested to William that they run the Duchy together and split the income .
William said no.

I really hope the original As Ever company take that legal advice because they every right to that name.

They did say they were getting legal advice and seemingly it’s not particularly complicated, they just need to apply for the TM in ‘use of commerce’. Meghan applied for a TM ‘to use’

Oh my! , I've just read that and I'm speechless!
Why is no one commenting on the elephant in the room?
For the past 5 ish years we've been told , that only the nasty U.K. press and people say nasty things about Meghan !
That is the worst comment about Meghan I have ever read! , she even calls her a narcissist! In print no less!!!

I think that Meghan is in a worse position now than she was before she launched ("launched") ARO, her Meghan instagram account, As Ever. She's turning out to be like Harry, in that the less he did and the less we knew about him, the better we thought of him. Harry I think would be happy to never to say anything publicly again. Sadly, Meghan is has trained herself to grab the mic and word salad her way into any opening...

I hadn't quite reached the point Emma Brockes has reached, identifying and labeling the pathos of Meghan's reality versus the reality. I still thought that she had a chance, or maybe that other people credit her with wanting world domination but that perhaps she just wants the quiet life of any rich housewife in her new circle, instagramming and designer-clothing and wafting around her circle in breathless tones, doing "good works" and clanging her gold jewelry and diamonds at every opportunity. But if The Guardian has labelled her as pitiful, it's game over really. Even the Montecito circle will shun her.

A woman who would do better if she said nothing but who can't stop herself from talking. It's like watching someone fall into a deep hole in slow motion. Very sad.

Thats what I thought. The tone of it is so biting. This isn’t the toxic British press- this is Americans getting fed up with them and they aren’t holding back!
