I really doubt the King has the time to find the one person who will defend anything she does. I do think the whole saga probably makes him a bit sad but he is extremely busy and they have given no indication they want his help, except monetarily of course

I felt quite daft after I posted but I thought person who made the comments also did PR for the King and knows which way the wind should kindly blow when the need arises.

I honestly couldn’t laugh about it. After looking at the NF site I’m shocked and quite upset by what Harry and Meghan are now reduced to. Not that I’m a fan of theirs at all. And no, I haven’t forgotten the lies, the scheming and all the rest of it. I’m just dismayed and saddened by how far they’ve fallen.

If it was a “bait and switch” then firstly it’s a really mean way to treat your fans, who they knew would have become hugely invested in ARO. Secondly, why call in favours from famous friends to get them to promote ARO jam - that could well leave them feeling like they were taken advantage of. And thirdly, given ARO was launched right in the middle of Where’sKateGate, that calls their motives even more into question, if it was indeed a fake brand.

I think you’d have to have a very sick and twisted mind to go to those lengths because you need an outlet for your hatred and vindictiveness.

There was a discussion upthread about the hummingbirds on the logo. Well one theory is that this is a reference to a passage in Spare, when, shortly after QEII's death, a hummingbird got into their house and was flying over the baby's toys or something. Apparently hummingbirds are likened to visiting spirits in some cultures (a bit like butterflies). So those hummingbirds could represent QEII and Diana, who of course endorse from the spirit world everything that MM does and give her guidance, she being their natural successor to all things good and royal on this earth.

Oh, yes, that'll be right. The late Queen would probably endorse jam or similar sweet based condiments, and send an avian agent from beyond the grave to confirm it. Definitely plausible.

I thought Amanda’s school fundraiser hosting stint in an old episode of Motherland was Meghan all over. The way she dominated the mic, her one way flirting with the audience, her fake coltish demeanor, her too short dress for an elevated stage, her complete inability to read the room. Totally cringe and totally Meghan.

Amanda has much better style than Meghan though.

I've heard a rumour that Meghan is going to / wants to make an appearance at the Oscars with a speech about the Cali wildfires, asking for support and donations. This helps explain her Billie Eilish T shirt vid and also it'll be good promo for With Love Meghan if it comes off.

Anyway, it doesn’t hurt that thanks to their visits I know a bit more about Nigeria than I knew before they visited there. Same with Colombia. Charles and Camilla’s visit to Kenya had the same effect.

That is just the kind of thing that Meghan would copy I think - 'people love Stanley and he says are we rolling so I will say the same and people will love me'. But of course that's not why people love Stanley, it's because he's charismatic and talented and engaging (and in a lot of people's eyes, sexy). Unfortunately for Meghan.

She's trying to create a multi-million $$$$ enterprise, but everything about it seems amateurish. Can't get the trademark sorted out, can't check whether anyone else is using the name, can't get a couple of professionally shot promotional videos made .... Pity you fell out with Daddy, isn't it, M? He could have helped you here.

I'm sure they could find a bigger and less controversial "name" to make a speech about the wildfires/ask for donations at the Oscars even if it is taking place in that celeb free, film star less wasteland, Hollywood.

I'm sure the Oscar's had already had a plan in place , particularly as I'm assuming a lot of those affected will be there, just more unoriginal ideas and grandiosity from Meghan and Harry as ever!

Maybe choose a celebrity from the actual neighbourhoods affected.

It's just excruciating at this point. Harry looking like Friar Tuck at their cash-cow & publicity-platform 'Invictus', desperately clinging onto his remaining sparse strands, so as not to join the 'alarmingly bald' club - clearly he is one of the percentage whom hair-transplants are not succesful for. You would have thought he had learnt by now that money truly cannot buy you everything. Indeed for him, it seems to have bought him precious little.

Meghan all trimmed up like a veneer-topped christmas tree. I note that the Danish royals who attended wore Invictus branded clothing rather than treating it as a cheap fashion parade. Meghan looked horribly flashy and tacky as per.
