Because sadly she can’t stop making everything about her. It’s actually quite sad to see how much her narcissistic personality invades everything they try to do and how damaging it is to their perceived “brand”.
It’s endless and not going to change as that’s who she is. Coupled with his victim mentality, the two together just don’t gel as a result, especially in terms of how they want to market themselves and monetise their status.
They might be perfectly happy in their family bubble, but it’s simply not working trying to capitalise upon his status, her desire for fame and centre stage, and actually nothing to secure their roots to apart from “them”.
As others have pointed out, being involved with a charity, you pitch up, but focus all your energies and focus on the charity. You are just a figurehead and blend into the background and let the charity shine.
