With this new authentic Insta post where Meghan positions herself as a go between in securing some signed merchandise I think there's still plenty to discuss.
This is a new image. No make up. Carefully edited insta. New lips. Is this influencer territory? Mention of " my husband and l " Echoes of the Queen ?

She's a duchess! And she doesn't compete with anybody else. She has to be the centre of attention at all times.

Well, as any fule kno, if Meghan is placed on anything lower than a pedestal higher than Mt Everest, then the only realistic explanation possible is that it's due to jealousy, malevolence, or, indeed, racism.

Or I suppose it could also be the fault of "the Briddish press" or the influence of Kensington Palace 😂

isn't this the woman who worked for Meghan as her spolesperson and PR, and was employed by Archewell, She quit, was laid off, working for Meghan to go freelance, so it's not as if she is an unknown start up company.

I am beginning to wonder if their new PR strategy is based on creating controversy as controversy sells, then trying to elicit sympathy for the criticism that comes with said controversy. I really can't think of another reason why she continues to promote tone deaf content, every time without fail.

Really? If so, on that basis the Billie Eilish video was a resounding fail as to my eyes it doesn't tick a single one of those categories!

What do you mean, the Daily Mail was the only paper that campaigned for the true killers of Stephen Lawrence to be unmasked, and justice done, even though the editor received credible threats against his life as a result? What do you mean, The Times was a vociferous supporter of Indian Independence, and heavily criticised the chaos of Partition? What, you're saying that the British media played a vital role in stoking up public morale during the dark days of the Blitz, and fearlessly reported the horrors of Auschwitz, thus fighting AGAINST fascism?

Nope nope nope, you must be wrong. The Briddish Press is an evil tool of Nazism, fascism and colonialism. And even worse than all of that, they failed to treat Meghan with the obsequious devotion she so richly deserves for her myriad talents.

Yes...Three Gates clearly doesn't understand what PR actually is. Strictly speaking, most PR is unnecessary, and speaking as a practitioner myself, I will freely admit that the empirical truth gets varnished here and there.

@Onlyonekenobe that is quite a rant! Can you imagine we know a lot of Egyptian children who don't speak a word of Arabic because they spend all day at an American school and then sit on YouTube or whatever when at home? There's a whole strata of society which has been Americanised. Depressing.

Instead she's blagging merchandise and opening boxes on Instagram.

Just a word about ‘Pippa’s’ advisory efforts…..I was tangentially involved in this. It was at the height of the Middleton Madness , when every paper and programme wanted to get on the bandwagon of the new addition to the RF , and the glamour extended to the family who seemed to be a bit of an antidote to the RF’s previous antics of disloyalty and self interest ( yes, even then).

Companies and the media were desperate to throw money at Pippa. She however was resolute that nothing remotely controversial could be attributed to her and thus embarrass her sister. Of course, that invites banality.

The big différence between Pippa and (ahem ) some other ‘celebrity’ authors was that Pippa took the money but never took the publicity and adulation seriously.

I bet Pippa has a fabulous life, mega wealthy, famous enough to draw attention to causes close to your heart but not famous enough for it to disrupt your life, plus she got the best engagement ring out of the lot of them!

I like the fact that despite genuinely being able to wear couture if she wanted, Pippa still is seen wearing mid-priced clothes. She wore a Karen Millen dress to Kate’s last carol service for example.

I have got the Pippa Middleton cook book and it’s brilliant. The Halloween section has some great decorating ideas.

I think most PR fails at least one of those three Gates tests at the outset, Kenobi, (as Spanakopita has pointed out)…and Meghan/Harry seem to fail all of them, if not all the time, then frequently.

I tell you what , though , @Serenster that engagement ring could elevate quite a lot of ordinary.

It's quite sad when you consider that if she had stayed as a working royal and focused on a couple of causes and put in the work, by now she would have real influence and have access to the top people in any field

I've just read that neither Adam Levine nor Billy Eilish have put anything out on SM about the young girl and the T Shirt . I do genuinely wonder what they think of Meghan's video ,perfectly OK with it or were happy to help but thought it might be a bit more under the radar help.

I’m impressed that people zoomed in on the picture in the first place. I’d never think to do that. I didn’t even know pictures like that one had been released.

The article was published in December and the minuscule photo has just been 'discovered', make of that what you will. 🤔🤔 The room is one of the busiest rooms I have ever seen, mad colours and shelves stuffed to the brim, the ultimate maximalist interior.

The kids are all they have left to merch after everything else has failed so I presume this was intended as a 'soft launch' of them. Except no one noticed so a little nudge was needed.
