  • William will continue to play a larger role as statesman. Hopefully he will move away from the virtue signalling endeavours; earth shot etc
  • Will see more of Catherine but she won’t see a return to a full time timetable (I don’t think she will for the next few years)
  • Eerie feeing that KC will still be battling ill health. Feel bad for writing that, but it’s a gut feeling all is not well.
  • Camillia isn’t going to be able to continue to be working as much as she has to cover for KC. Hence Williams larger role.
  • Prince George accompanying his father on a Royal visit.
  • 50/50 if the Meghan cooking show will be released. There will be no ARO launch for 2025.
  • 2025 is going to continue M&Hs run of bad luck. Harry in particular will have a tough year with the numerous court cases and NFs dropping them
  • Continued press if they are together or not. More info and stories that they are spending increasing time apart. Separate events throughout the year. Don’t believe Meghan will show for Invictus. Harry will spend more time in NY.

Well it’s not her decor is it?

Though I will say, all the flower arrangements will cost a fortune

I doubt that will stop them analysing her character based on the curtains!

I'd love fresh flowers everywhere and am a little jealous of those that can afford them.

Maybe analysing her character basing a lifestyle programme in someone else’s home

Very relatable isn’t it?

It depends who her target audience are and I don't know enough about Netflix demographics to guess. Maybe she is going for aspirational rather than relatable?

My aspirational cook would probably be Delia so I'm definitely not on the same wavelength.

I doubt those that can drop hundreds on flowers for the home are watching NF cooking shows.

But they may want to aspire to it?

I don't know, I prefer photos of Stacey Solomon getting excited about her ducks on Instagram so I'm not really Meghan's audience.

I do too. During Covid I treated myself to a subscription for flowers every month for a few months. A total extravagence but I wasn't going out and spending. I just loved arranging the flowers, adding greenery from the garden etc. Pure indulgence for me, wish I could have kept it up.

I looked at the netflix clip. It all looked lovely, I hope it works for her. I don't care it's not her kitchen, Nigella cooks in a warehouse all dressed up and a few miles from her home!

I didn't know you could get short subscriptions, that's going on my birthday list.

I hope it works for her too.

Yes, upwards of 3 months. I used bloom and wild. It's a lovely present.

Me too. I am learning how to make things grow in my garden so I can have this.

My garden isn't big enough for cut flowers but I've just remembered that it's nearly £1 daffodil seasonwhich is a cheering thought.

I achual know about KC health would never divulge this in real life bit I’ve had a bottle of procceco and you feel like friends …
my relative is in the know and it’s is not good news
his cancer is terminal but as it’s prostrate it is very slow burning cancer hopefully he will have another ten years
Catherine has had a stoma fitted ( hopefully temporary) hence the really long recovery and nervousness at public appearances
( really really felt for her , her every twitch is dissected)
she was struggling for years and the pregnancy sickness and Megan stress really acerbated things

always had soft spot for both of them and even more now , hated how Catherine’s Absence was hot news with all the gossip about the state of her marriage
I think they are both fab and wish them all the best for the years ahead

LouisvilleSlugger · 02/01/2025 19:16

That all looks rather lovely. I’d watch.

re flower deliveries - I use Freddie’s and you can dip in and out as you choose. I only get them when I like the flowers (I loathe multicoloured arrangements).

So only you can share predictions? What an odd response!

Ah, didn't realise this topic on MN had such a reputation. Clearly not the place for me!

So despite him being open about him having the initial prostate procedure, you're saying that his cancer is prostate cancer, the only cancer the palace has specifically ruled out?

You seem to know a lot about 2 separate people, one of whom has publically stated his cancer was not prostate.

Btw, prostrate means to lie face down, acerbate means to make something bitter or sour but well done on indirectly blaming Meghan for Kate’s cancer.

GrouchyKiwi · 02/01/2025 19:10

Me too. I am learning how to make things grow in my garden so I can have this.

Perennials are the key to this - find a couple of different flowers or beautiful greenery plants which bloom for each of your seasons and you’ll have very easy options in a couple of years.

If you’ve got the climate and room for bushes which flower these are perfect - hydrangeas etc. And flowering trees like cherry.

Then add a small patch of cutting flowers from a seed packet once a year and you’ll never have to buy any flowers again!

Extiainoiapeial · 02/01/2025 20:00

I agree wordler. I don't grow flowers but I have a lot of flowering greenery, and sometimes buy just a cheapie bunch of flowers and just add to it with different greenery, some silvery, some glossy green, all sorts.

CarefulN0w · 02/01/2025 21:26

TBF the stoma was what I had assumed, given the extreme privacy, but as PP have said, prostate was the one cancer that has been excluded.
