  • William will continue to play a larger role as statesman. Hopefully he will move away from the virtue signalling endeavours; earth shot etc
  • Will see more of Catherine but she won’t see a return to a full time timetable (I don’t think she will for the next few years)
  • Eerie feeing that KC will still be battling ill health. Feel bad for writing that, but it’s a gut feeling all is not well.
  • Camillia isn’t going to be able to continue to be working as much as she has to cover for KC. Hence Williams larger role.
  • Prince George accompanying his father on a Royal visit.
  • 50/50 if the Meghan cooking show will be released. There will be no ARO launch for 2025.
  • 2025 is going to continue M&Hs run of bad luck. Harry in particular will have a tough year with the numerous court cases and NFs dropping them
  • Continued press if they are together or not. More info and stories that they are spending increasing time apart. Separate events throughout the year. Don’t believe Meghan will show for Invictus. Harry will spend more time in NY.

@AmazingGraze I’m sure I read on here somewhere that Andrew is teetotal but I agree he does look like a drinker.

MagdaLenor · 01/01/2025 08:48

He is supposed to have been teetotal since he was a young man, I recall on his return from the Falklands they jokingly gave him a glass of milk.

CatsWhiskerz · 01/01/2025 09:01

I think William will be brought closer and closer into KCs work as he's unwell and mid70's so should take the help from Wills, plus they seem very close and I don't think wills would do anything idiotic like his idiot brother
Hoping Catherine will be cancer free and able to do more also
H&M - they're circling the Hollywood drain so suspect we'll be seeing a lot of strategies from their PR to cling on but suspect they're really just yesteryears fish and chip paper, which was just bile filled gossip and lies anyway - Meghan won't stick around long, she'll bag herself a rich bloke and move on

Extiainoiapeial · 01/01/2025 10:09

Kate & William will continue to do very little. They are conditioning the great british public into thinking this is the norm. Just occasions when they have no choice (Trooping, Remembrance, State visits).
So when William takes over, they will just be two rich aristocrats donning some uniform and a tiara when they have to. But obviously going to their favourite sporting events (footie Wimbledon etc) The public will just think this is normal because it's happening now. And will continue like this.

Nerxt year Anne & Charles will continue to valiantly prop the Monarchy up with lots of engagements. Ditto Sophie and Edward.

However, when that generation of royals goes, the monarchy will change beyond recognition. And it will be in name only, whilst still taking the money! (Duchy, SG etc)

CathyorClaire · 01/01/2025 10:51

They are conditioning the great british public into thinking this is the norm.

Exactly right.

We already have Willy dropping patronages to concentrate on his Duchy Whatsapps 'Big Projects', being sold as a 'hands-on Dad' which seems to entail taking weeks of generous school holidays off and refusing to release even the minimal tax details Papa provides on his DoC income.

Anyone thinking or hoping he's going to slim down, modernise and revitalise the monarchy's image is deluded. Entitled feudal throwback hits the mark.

Really, so he’d be an even bigger bore to be around than I had imagined!

Also makes his behaviour look much worse….its not as if he can blame it on being drunk and making foolish decisions

He apparently doesn't sweat either 😋

Aspargar · 01/01/2025 12:45

I do feel like we will just get more of the same from H&M. Announcing big projects that amount to nothing in the end, faux tour, Harry sniping about the media, divorce rumours.

Same as 2023, same as 2024, will be the same 2025

But because it’s the same old, I think they will get less press coverage as time goes on. Nothing of note has really happened since the docu and book. Eyeballs will start to look elsewhere- which will be terrible for their careers because thats all they have, the ability to draw in the press. There’s no talent there to make a success of things on their own.

A case of being careful what you wish for, because the press are slowly tuning out, particularly as we are now 5 years since they left the RF. There were great expectations about what could happen next….and nothing. They’ve flopped. The royal sheen has worn off and it feels like everything; press interest, Netflix contracts, social status, money making ability, even their relationship is all coming to a natural end.

VanCleefArpels · 01/01/2025 12:54

More than one death in the wider family - eg Kents, Gloucesters

I agree PoW is going to cannily reshape how we see the RF - I reckon he’s taking notes on how Fred and Mary are doing things in Denmark.

More good social media content a la post cancer video.

George applies for Marlborough not Eton (or even a minor school no one’s really heard of, maybe not boarding)

Aspargar · 01/01/2025 12:59

I think this slow decline in their appeal is demonstrated by last years red carpet walks by Meghan.

Did anybody expect in 2020, that in her mid 40s she’d be unveiling a sexy new look at an LA red carpet event, holding hands with her bestie in 2024?.The sort of event that she would have turned up to ten years prior when she was a much younger, unknown, cable tv actress?

In a red carpet video at that event, she also appeared tipsy. But it could also have been nerves or even both.

It’s sad to watch. This couldn’t have been the plan.

Did someone predict disguised shots of the kids? (from the back, blurry etc)

Well ding, ding, ding

You didn’t have to wait long. 1st of January

I think Andrew will still try to court positive public opinion and try to make himself relevant. He won't give up. I imagine he still thinks he can make a comeback, he is too entitled to think otherwise. His ex wife will support him in this. At the moment she is advertising some sort of partnership with a meditation app... all filmed in the grounds of Royal Lodge.

I think there will be a lot of hard work to hush up any 2025 royal scandals.

I do think there will be more coming out about Andrew during this year.

Mydahliasareshit · 01/01/2025 13:42

Alizee tires of the useless boy Middleton and returns to her family in France.

A foreign press reveals what really happened at Sandringham on 28th December 2023.

Something is revealed that makes sense of Tom Kingston's unaliving.

KC's cancer revealed to be of a bronchial nature of the tobacco/ passive smoking variety.

Loss of at least two members of the older generation.

George confirmed for Eton.

Charlotte to attend White Lodge in Richmond Park.

H&M to make Portugal home after Trump inauguration.

Engagement for Lady Louise next Christmas.

myrtleWilson · 01/01/2025 15:04

Oh lord - I really thought the Sandringham/ambulance fever dream had finally disappeared as we moved into 2025.
Plus the inference around Thomas Kingston’s death is vile. You come across as one of those dense tik tok’ers.

Needanewname42 · 01/01/2025 15:50

@AmazingGraze
I think your right about C&C neither of them are well enough to be doing the full programme they are trying to do.

I think they are trying to battle on in a bid to protect William because Kates struggling too.

Totally agree Edward looks unwell and too thin. And has done for a while.

An awful lot of pressure on the fitter family members trying to support those less fit.
If it was a normal business you'd employ some more people. But they can't really do that.
The H&M situation must be breeding tons of resentment that they are living off their titles while its the rest of them trying to keep the monarchy afloat.

Dabralor · 01/01/2025 15:53

What a weird and ghoulish thread to start. For what its worth, I really like Prince William's earthshot and I hope it continues to go from strength to strength. I'll leave making baseless predictions about people's health.

istheheatingonyet · 01/01/2025 15:55

Some of the young uns will step up. Lady Louise.

AmazingGraze · 01/01/2025 16:02

istheheatingonyet · 01/01/2025 15:55

Some of the young uns will step up. Lady Louise.

She’s at university and has a life. Why would she want to do Royal duties?

BemusedAmerican · 01/01/2025 16:03

I also like Earthshot and William's other initiatives. He is popular in the US. I suspect he will be doing a lot of the PR work with Trump for the UK.

I'm predicting that Harry buys an apartment in NYC and throws a fit when he is ignored.

Needanewname42 · 01/01/2025 16:09

istheheatingonyet · 01/01/2025 15:55

Some of the young uns will step up. Lady Louise.

Some of Williams cousins might well be asked to step up as Bea & Eugene were for the garden party. Zara & Mike maybe.

But I cannot see it being Louise far too young, at uni and too unknown.

Samcro · 01/01/2025 16:11

good grief the idea of Zara and her sleazy husband becoming working royals is bizarre.

DarkAndTwisties · 01/01/2025 16:17

Some of Williams cousins might well be asked to step up as Bea & Eugene were for the garden party. Zara & Mike maybe.

God I wouldn't if I were B or E. They don't get public money do they? Maybe they get to live somewhere royal-owned?
They have rich husbands (and presumably their own wealth just from being from a very rich family, public money aside) and young children. I wouldn't be opening myself and my children up to the criticism and scrutiny. I'd be living as privately as possible.

BettyBardMacDonald · 01/01/2025 16:21

I've been getting the sense the last few years that Lady Louise enjoys the limelight. Bet she will end up a working royal.

ChristmasKelpie · 01/01/2025 16:33

BettyBardMacDonald I think Lady Louise will be the next Princess Anne.

TheRealHousewife · 01/01/2025 16:36

Reddog1 · 31/12/2024 23:03

Charles will battle on. Camilla too. I think they both have a good few years and enjoy being busy. They will perform engagements until they absolutely can’t.

Workshy and Waity will do as little as possible.

Sophie and Edward will be assiduous but get very little press.

Anne will continue to graft.

Andrew will continue to be an unresolved nuisance.

Tindall will continue to be a sleaze.

Meghan might wish Ashley Cole had said yes to a date in 2016, but she won’t withdraw from Haz in 2025.

I didn’t know Mr Tindall was a sleaze. I always he and Zara made a lovely fun loving couple. Is that your own opinion or is it based on something he’s done?
