With the exection of Sophis in blue and B's husband, I'm sorry but the Royals look ill and sad. It's a shame.

Re Catherine and Camila wearing matching coats- It is interesting that the wider family did used to be quite strict about not wearing the same colour as the late Queen but that rule seems to have been relaxed now, not sure if it’s less respect for Camila or just she doesn’t care as much. (I can easily imagine her telling them all to wear whatever they want.)

years ago it was very clear all the Royals walked to the church in their hierarchy- now they still kept the King and Queen first then Prince and Princess of Wales & family, but after that it was more of a relaxed jumble with family walking along chatting.

Could be reading too much into all this but it does seem that Charles is much more relaxed than his mother/has different priorities.

Edward looks more like George VI as he gets older. He's lost some weight but it might be down to grief, he lost both his parents in 18 months and he is quite a sensitive soul. A new and tailored coat might be a good investment though.

I know Princes George and Lois and their sister have to do these duties as their futures are determined and grooming must start at an early age but I do wonder if when they return home after these public parades they're allowed to change into joggers and just let rip and be normal(ish) children . I hope so. Edward's dresser should encourage a smaller size of overcoat. Just saying 🤔

Charles is having cancer treatment (which is usually pretty brutal) and Camilla has been ill with that horrible flu/chest infection so not surprised they're looking a bit rough!

I think Kate looks genuinely happy and well. KC looks pretty terrible as is to be expected I suppose. He looks much older than he is. I do wonder why Edward is so thin.

Please be assured that both DD and myself showered before going this morning! Regarding the colour green worn by Kate and Camilla, I haven’t seen photos or news coverage, but they were very different shades of green. Kate’s was very vibrant, Camilla’s coat muted.
Honestly, some of the comments here are bonkers, they recognised a lot of people in the crowd, they were friendly and relaxed, they took time to chat with the ‘great unwashed’ and their collective royal noses didn’t recoil in horror!
I’ve seen some of them over the years locally and at a nearby beach. They are left alone, their privacy is respected. I can understand people who are staunch supporters defending them, but I don’t understand why people who dislike them taking so much time and effort to pick holes in them. Sad.

Camilla isn't the sovereign though. Was anyone wearing the same colour as Charles? I imagine the reason for the rule was so the monarch would stand out, especially given QEII was a smaller woman.

I agree that Camilla and Charles look frail compared with the Queen and Prince Philip at a similar age. I don’t think either of them will make it into their 90’s. But they looked OK, as did the others.

What absolute rubbish. There's several photos where they're smiling at each other. Even if there weren't big fucking deal. They're out at a family occasion, kids there & dealing with all the public.
