At the end of August, there was a partial rejection of the ARO trademark because of the name and descriptions. Also issues with the logo.
They had 3 months to rectify, which you would think would be ample time.

But just a few days before the deadline, an extension has been applied for. Which would be another 3 months

So it’s obviously not an easy fix, I’m sure there have been countless people working to get this done and they have months! Yet they’ve not been able to sort it.

Seemingly, you are only allowed one extension. This would take her to the end of February. So pretty much a year since she’s launched and it’s no further forward, if anything she’s in a worse position. What a disaster.

@LaMarschallin 'DC' has always been 'children' on MN as far as I'm aware? They very occasionally post a pic on their FB or IG if there is a family gathering, like Christmas or a wedding. Not sure why that is inappropriate?
I've never called my lovely friends 'chums' 🤣 they'd think I'd lost the plot!

Ah.
I was just extrapolating from Meghan's friends putting pictures of her on FB/IG and thought that family photos (especially from one's children) would be very different - quite possibly more informal, even up to and including slippers - so thought perhaps I'd missed the point.

Fair enough. Glad to have entertained you, though disappointed I only managed to elicit one 🤣 emoji.

I have two teenagers, they are so aware of not posting photos of friends or groups without getting permission from others in the photos they are sharing.

I think it has been drummed into them at school. On school outings, shows, events, they are warned in advance no photos of others to be shared on SM.

They always ask us when they are sharing family photos.

I am glad things are changing with the younger generation.

Edited

I agree that the teenagers and young adults who grew up with social media are often way savvier than their parents and grandparents.

If this photo is staged and approved it's quite an astonishing choice given Rachel looks like she's grinding on her friend's leg.

That freakish attention to detail must have taken an afternoon off.

Where did the "freakish attention to detail" thing start? I can't remember.

Oh my word, as if Catherine didn't get annihilated and what a load of obsequious crap. So glad I missed that at the time.

Mylovelygreendress · 12/12/2024 17:32

Pretty sure this will have been posted before but , in case anyone missed it , here is an example of Meghan’s freakish attention to detail .

Maybe “freakish” is the operative word 🤔😆

Baital · 12/12/2024 18:37

Well, yes, freakish can go either way 😂

WatchOutMissMarpleIsAbout · 12/12/2024 20:08

God. Well below the belt that comment which make no mistake she would have authorised. ‘Sources close to’ means she’s the source or she’s authorised it.

StartupRepair · 12/12/2024 21:27

'staged and inauthentic' pretty much describes every photo of Meghan out there. She is a true product of Instagram culture.

If all we have to worry about with a non tax payer funded person, I don't think there's a lot to get angst about.

Creased clothes .... pffft....

Wasn’t me that wrote it. Was the American press. They don’t pay for her either but they seem to have an opinion about her

Bit irrelevant over here then.

Is that how it works? We only read publications of our native countries? What about authors of other counties? should I read anything at all that comes from across the pond?

Really don’t know what I should do with my NYT subscription now 🤔

Extiainoiapeial · 13/12/2024 21:17

Read what you want 🤣

Thanks! I’ll read the List article again then 😊

Go for it!

Sunblessed · 13/12/2024 21:22

Then perhaps there’s no need for further comment of my reading habits @Extiainoiapeial

That article is interesting but maybe not from a royal point of view. I could have a lively discussion based on it about how standards for "royal" clothes changes over the years though, along with what is seen as appropriate. As someone who hates ironing, I applaud Meghan's refusal to worry about creasing. Maybe that's more style and beauty though.

Extiainoiapeial · 13/12/2024 21:25

Why do you keep tagging me repeatedly then! I'm not interested in your reading habits!

Sunblessed · 13/12/2024 21:43

Then don’t keep commenting on it then!

I agree. Linen gets creased, I wear linen as I go to a hot country a lot.I have a lot of linen, and it's right. Who worries about creases, I don't. 👍

Baital · 14/12/2024 04:45

I don't do ironing, but then I don't have a personal brand that relies a lot on my appearance.

As much as I have a 'personal brand' 😂 it is based on what I do, so my looks are irrelevant.

Meghan doesn't 'do', how she looks is a (big) part of what she sells. So unnecessarily creased clothing is relevant.
