I couldn’t find another thread on this. I watched this yesterday. I am so angry. The royal family are grim parasites funding their luxury lifestyle from the sweat of the British people. Via the duchies they are rinsing the NHS and charities for millions. It’s horrific. No IHT, no CGT, no transparency, no consideration for the environment of which they are supposed to be stewards in the duchies.

Their behaviour and greed is absolutely grim
and I am so sick of the lot of them. I’m joining republic, I’m so shocked at what I’ve just seen. The French had the right idea.

The fail are in overdrive with the Kate and William stories this week. Something about them not being able to keep their hands off each other, ‘Brave Kate’, etc. And yet still not a word about the C4 documentary. 🙈

Also stories about them enjoying child free time together - https://www.vanityfair.com/style/story/prince-william-kate-scotland

Which is a bit weird as I thought their excuse for not doing any work was being "hands on" parents just like normal people.. with a nanny for some children time

Prince William and Princess Kate Have Been Spending “Special Time” in Scotland

After a difficult year, the couple has been escaping without their three kids for “low key” trips together, says a source.

'William's hardest year'. 'Brave Kate'.

It all makes me thoroughly nauseous actually. And in the context of Remembrance Sunday of all things, which is about commemorating people who were truly brave and made sacrifices - it is so jarring.

William has said he wants to be 'royal with a small r' - what does that even mean? Without his royal status he would have no platform at all. And talks about empathy, philanthropy and helping people and claims 'I really care about what I do'.

In my experience, people who genuinely care about others do not refer to themselves as being caring - it just flows naturally from them without their even being conscious of it. And talk about philanthropy and caring rings hollow as we know that he has been happy to profit from public and charity money and continues to do so.
