Showing up to support her very close friend who lost her child and also the children’s hospital at an evening gala. What a friend to have in the Duchess. Meghan was glowing, fresh faced, wore minimal makeup, was confidant and smiley. She was well spoken and supportive of the evening fund raiser when interviewed. Show Up, Do Good. Yes, she always does. Loved her look too.

Sorry? What's on me? What am I deflecting? I thought that particular post was utterly disgusting. I quoted and commented on it. @LaMarschallin told me it had been deleted. I didn't use the offensive comment again. Unfortunately others did.

Imagine getting so upset because I commented on them wearing similar dresses, I should have looked at your user name before I responded, as I’ve said to you before, I can’t be bothered with your posts, I find you far too aggressive and personal in your responses to the most inane criticism of Meghan, it’s impossible to have any reasoned discussion with you therefore I suggest you ignore my posts in future as they cause you such angst, then it will be happy days all round.

I don’t think it’s okay at all, and generally push back against criticism based on looks. Particularly criticism based on the notion that looking your age, for a woman, is a moral failing.

Because of that I notice that there’s a hell of a lot of casual insults aimed at Camilla for her looks. The poor woman is in her 70s too, so I guess she deserves them for aging. I notice very little pushback on those kind of comments though, even from fair-minded posters like you.

Otherwise surely she would have been seated at the same table as the erstwhile best friend (who incidentally didn’t attend the wedding), not leave before the show got going? Or she would have paid for a table and made sure her photo was taken at every possible opportunity?

I've searched (admittedly not that hard!) but can't find any statement from him confirming this. Surely he would do if he'd asked her to go? You'd think it would be common courtesy since she's getting so much flak for doing him the favour of attending.

Yes it’s very odd, if he did invite her I suspect he would be pretty pissed off she only stayed to get her photo taken so maybe that’s why he hasn’t said anything.

They died down because, once it became clear how ill she was, some no longer wanted to stand by what they'd said

It's not a PR agency, at least not primarily. It's a talent agency.

I'm not sure that they're still repping Meghan. She's been with them for more than a year without scoring any work, which would suggest she's not a good investment.

And the threads only died down because no-one was willing to keep pushing the nasty narrative when she explained what was wrong - as that would have shown them as the pathetic arseholes they were.
