Just looking at the photos of Harry in Lesotho . Don’t know when I last saw him looking so relaxed and happy .
Nice to see.

Isn't San Ysidro Ranch a favourite place of Harry’s ?????

No idea
But like the other ones mentioned, it's a hotel which any one can use (assuming they can afford it). So whether it is or it isn't a fave for Harry isn't connected to someone else's booking and anything that happened during that person's booking.

Harry reportedly did his Anderson Cooper and Tom Bradby suck-up interviews at the San Ysidro ranch.

Yes, the rooms (whether meeting or accommodation) are available to anyone who will pay. It's a hotel; letting rooms to all sorts of people is what it does.

It doesn't mean that their client A has anything whatsoever to do with their clients B, C, D etc.

Frequenting the same hotel does not equate to being at the same gatherings (whether that's Mothers' Union or disreputable sex party)

This is what really annoys me about his “security issues”. He arrived here before the Well Child awards without any fuss or anyone noticing. He may well have been back here in his way back to the States but if so he was well under the radar. It makes a complete nonsense of them “not being safe” in the UK and strongly suggests that the only reason he is braying for security is so that they are actually noticed when they have outriders etc 😡

Managed an incognito trip to his uncle's funeral too...

But ……William and Catherine get police escorts so why can’t they ??

Slight derail but I’m tickled at the idea of a reputable sex party

Slightly off-topic, but (not on MN, but from sites where Meghan is idolised) I get the impression that their fans have a simple-minded understanding of H & M's life, and take the Netflix doc very much at face-value. It was a complete sham - not even filmed in their home.

We don't know how they live day-to-day, but the cosy idea that they live in suburban bliss with Doria reading the children bedtime stories and Meghan rustling up something healthy and delicious for their supper is surely way off the mark. I think it's pretty well-known that they live apart for at least some of the time - with Harry particularly having at least one other bolt-hole in the area.

Agree. Simple-minded being the key word here.

It would be really interesting to know the truth.

I think there’s a lot of smoke and mirrors when it comes to M&H. I would bet quite a lot that they haven’t lived in the Montecito house in a while and they the kids are going to school under a different name. Harry is so paranoid that I would bet that a lot of what we are told by them is a deliberate misdirect. It must be a tiring way to live.

StartupRepair · 14/10/2024 20:04

I find the way Harry talks about the DC really odd. Saying they have great sense of humour and they spend hours mindlessly scrolling devices -
.at 3 and 5? It is like he has never met a child before.

@Bontonbonbon I really hope that he isn’t bringing up his children to be worried (paranoid) about security like he is. I live in the US and my sense is that there’s very little interest in the family nowadays. They have no reason to be paranoid and it would be so sad if the children start feeling that way.

BasiliskStare · 14/10/2024 20:40

@Bruford I agree and it would be sad if they thought that they were unsafe to visit the UK.

I thought he was issuing dire warnings about the dangers of the internet for children. Not saying his children spend hours scrolling. Of course his children are paragons compared to those of a mere mortal. Or have I misunderstood?

Mylovelygreendress · 14/10/2024 22:41

Did Harry not criticise the way the Wales children are being raised ?

I saw that video on X a couple of days ago and I thought either he is a shit parent or he is lying.

I just wish the washing machine would hurry up!

There's definitely a ton of stuff going on behind the scenes hidden with a bundle of smoke and mirrors.

@Mylovelygreendress Hmm, would someone who hasn’t seen the Wales children for nearly five years really know much about them?!

Agree . I think he said something in Spare but can’t remember exactly what it was . Will maybe have a look tomorrow.

I wonder if they are selling the mansion in Monte. Perhaps they’re trying to reduce their expenditure and put some money in the coffers . They wouldn’t want to admit to that . They may also be concerned about security and want to live somewhere else. It’s all a bit odd .

What makes you think they are trying to sell it?

TBH my thoughts would be if they are trying to sell it then it's part of a divorce process.
I just can't see the two of them lasting.

Definitely. I hadn't thought of that aspect, but you're right - once the children go to school they're not going to be able to keep everything so secret. You can't command very young children not to tell about what goes on at home! When I was teaching I sometimes had to (tactfully) stop children in Show and Tell coming out with all kinds of things about their home lives in front of the class!

I wonder how they're handling this - I guess Archie at least will be in some kind of school by now. Perhaps they do have 'pseudonyms' - but then, how will the children keep that up? You've got me intrigued. And the other children and parents - they can hardly make them sign NDAs.

I suspect those children's lives are very, very restricted, poor things. And don't get me started on them being deprived of contact with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. It almost amounts to child abuse.

The talk of removal vans, the smoke and mirrors. Just speculation.

Needanewname42 · 15/10/2024 08:50

It wouldn't surprise me if the kids go by normalish names Archie Mountbatten or Windsor.
To most in the US they wouldn't make the connection, esp if they are dropped of and picked up by nannies.

But also other parents will have their own reasons to keep quiet even if they suspect their LO is in class with Harry's son, ie their own kids privacy.
