All Queen’s married to a King are “Queen consort”. This is commonly shortened to “Queen”. They are the same thing. This has been explained many times on here. The late Queen merely use the correct full title for the wife of the King. To distinguish Camilla from a Queen regnant which is what Elizabeth ii was. So that people would understand that when Camilla ascended to the throne it would be as the Queen who is wife of the King. Otherwise it might have sounded like the late Queen was naming Camilla as her heir to those who are hard of understanding

@spaceshooter do you not understand the difference bewtween Queen regnant and Queen consort? They are both Queen's from the moment of the previous monarch's death but the regnant/consort points to their powers rather than the title of Queen. QEII was quite correct in referring to Camilla as QC to delineate the powers that came with the role, rather than it being a diminshed role

On her marriage, she could if she had wished, have been styled Princess Henry of Wales. She is now the Princess Henry. But of course the royal dukedom is senior so she would’ve known as the Duchess of Sussex

Just like Princess Edward is the Duchess of Edinburgh, or the former Princess William of Wales was the Duchess of Cambridge (and briefly the Princess William and Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge)
