Hollywood Reporter - Meghan and Harry

Why Hollywood Keeps Quitting on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (hollywoodreporter.com)

Why’d they all leave? What explains the churn? “Everyone’s terrified of Meghan,” claims a source close to the couple. “She belittles people, she doesn’t take advice. They’re both poor decision-makers, they change their minds frequently. Harry is a very, very charming person — no airs at all — but he’s very much an enabler. And she’s just terrible.”

Would you work for Harry and Meghan? Ex-employees say run away.

Of all these character traits were in a man he'd be held in the highest regard going.

Misogynistic tripe. Meghan is far too smart for the royals in this country.

Unfortunately she is not immune from the hateful press.

I don’t know what country you are in, but I can assure you no man is held in high regard for abusing or bullying staff in any developed country , in fact it is illegal in most.

I also don’t know what country you think she’s too clever for, is it the USA where this originates? I assume so? Or the uk and you’re confused?

Uricon2 · 14/09/2024 20:32

It was all very well for them when they could blame the British media, BP and William and Kate. The Hollywood Reporter is not associated with any of these entities (disagree, show proof)

Whatever they are doing wrong has clearly followed them over the Atlantic, hasn't it?

spaceshooter · 14/09/2024 20:35

Oh dear, touched some hateful nerves.

I don't know of any man held in high regard for bullying staff while also failing to produce work of any value.

And if it were not for her fading association with "the royals in this country" most of Meghan's adoring fans wouldn't even be aware of her existence.

Ah the teenage haters thing. I’m sure you know that’s what people resort to when theyve no answer. 😂

im sure that is just a mistake on your part, that you’re a grown up, so maybe explain what country men are held in the highest regard for abusing and bullying staff?

and what country you’re referring to in terms of Megan being too clever ?

Her behaviour also predates her arrival in the UK and pre PH -- see comments from the Director of the Reitman commercial she worked on in Canada.

Persistent and consistent character traits

If she was that smart, she'd be front and centre of the RF right now, filling the void QEII left, charming the socks off the masses and leaving Catherine and William in the shade. Instead she's trying and failing to flog jam. She's not smart at all.

CathyorClaire · 14/09/2024 20:56

There is something very wrong with the pair of them.

I have long thought the pair of them may be a case of folie à deux.

One explanation for the seemingly willful blindness to behavioural excesses both demonstrate.

Americanpseudoroyaltorture · 14/09/2024 20:58

I do not beleive if Diana was still alive he would be a different man, I think this is who he is. And irrelevant of child hood traumas, it’s who he was always going to be.

Lady Glenconnor (not sure I've spelled that correctly) who was a very good friend and lady in waiting to QEII said something recently. The nanny Diana sacked for growing too close to William and Harry was subsequently employed by Lady G to look after her dying ex husband (this amazing woman looked after the man who had abused her). Anyway, said nanny said that Harry was born angry. Considering she knew and looked after him before his mother's death, "this is who he is" fits, I think.

WatchOutMissMarpleIsAbout · 14/09/2024 21:04

Looks like the wheels are coming off. Why is it coming now though? What’s changed that people are now prepared to talk?

spaceshooter · 14/09/2024 21:05

Most Brits think royals are a superior breed chosen by God to rule. Just weeks ago the British media bragged that William and Kate are billionaires.

That family you adore greedily took another £45mil while the government cut winter fuel payments to the poor.

Take take takers.

Harry got his wife away from it and they live off their own purse. I see that infuriates you, is it because you think you own them and they must do what you want, or do you just life by the sword of the Murdoch press?

Either way you sound stupid. I'm in London btw. Wink

CathyorClaire · 14/09/2024 21:07

Can you elaborate on this?

What on earth are you talking about, please link to this bragging of them being billionaires, and explain how it links to labour removing wfa? As we are a;L stupid In your eyes, explain it.

And how are they living off their own purse, when Charles gave them money then the only real money they earned was from trash talking the royal family`.?

and where in London is being abusive seen as a quality to be held on the highest regard for a man?im in London and this is illegal in the workplace.

what is the point for you where it becomes so so bad, you feel embarassed trying to defend it? Or is there no point, no matter how low they sink, how bad it is, you will still embarass yourself defending it?

Living off their own purse. Let me see, all the money Harry had derived from his family until he started selling said family down the river for cash. So he’s made money from causing a lot of distress to his nearest and dearest, yes. He’s also about to come into a massive sum from his grandmother. The man has hardly worked in the real sense in his whole life. Apart from the time in the Army. His wife is a freeloader. She’s made money out of selling her in laws down the river and talking about how horrid they were to her. There are the paid for appearances at third rate awards ceremonies too. She hasn’t worked since she left Suits.
Don’t forget about Harry whining that Daddy cut him off when he decided to seek his new life full of wonderful opportunities either.

@spaceshooter Polling companies such as IpsoMori, YouGov and others regularly ask questions about the view of the populace about the effectiveness of the RF, and their likeablilty. I've not seen a poll that asked about perception that the RF was chosen by God to lead - would you mind linking that please? thanks ever so!

CathyorClaire · 14/09/2024 21:20

Harry got his wife away from it and they live off their own purse.

Harold wholeheartedly believes in his hereditary privilege and initially wanted half in half out (read glamorous foreign tours rather than opening dank UK fish markets on a wet Wednesday).

The UK taxpayer is (at the last count) underwriting his ridiculous court cases, paying for his now demonstrably unnecessary blue light cavalcades and subbing bids to bring his circus to a bankrupt city with unspecified further related costs to come.

It's not really like living off his own purse now, is it?

IcedPurple · 14/09/2024 21:21

Harry got his wife away from it and they live off their own purse.

They're living off the money Harry got from his family, and the media deals they got from their links to that family. However, their failure to deliver on those deals, and their obnoxious behaviour towards staff, has meant that Hollywood is now discarding them. Without the royal connection, they have very little to offer.

  1. They really don't. I think quite a lot of Brits like having a monarchy - we like the pageantry, the history, the stability.
  2. Can't say I saw any media 'bragging'. In fact I didn't see anything about this at all.
  3. People have been complaining for years that wfp go to many who don't need it. Labour have finally done something about the anomaly and are trying really hard mitigate any hardship. The sovereign grant is for the expenses associated with the HOS. We'd have these with a president too. The increase is for repairs to Buckingham Palace - the palace isn't owned by the rf.
  4. Harry and Meghan are finding 'living off their own purse' a mite expensive, and they've only managed to do it so far by slagging off their families and merching it.
  5. Harry and Meghan have been rumbled briefing the press and acknowledging the support of the Sussex Squad, whose abuse of the rf, particularly William and Kate beliefs Harry and Megan's fervent anti bullying stance.

There is a persistent Internet Myth which wrongly talks about the Divine Right as if it was a present concept, not one that was abolished in the Glorious Revolution of 1688; and of course which totally ignores that the Succession was settled by Parliament shortly after that, and cannot be changed other than by Parliament.

I know many MPs have egos of a size that you'd be forgiven for believing they think themselves to be gods. But it sure as hell isn't how the British public see them

My personal rule of thumb is that anyone who describes us as Brits is a)clearly not British and b) knows nothing about this country.
