Are you suggesting that Meghan really lives in Santa Monica and Harry is in living in the mansion?

It has been rumoured for a while they live separately.

Possibly they have a 'pied a terre' in or near LA for work purposes, but the rumours are getting louder about separate living arrangements. If the NYT have 'erronously' mentioned (and removed, but not corrected) an abode that is somewhere different to their joint home, there is possibly some truth to those rumours that indicate more than just a bolthole for work.

I think Anne is in charge of the Trust Fund . Can’t remember where I read that . I wonder if she - and others - are doing anything to safeguard the money .

I suspect it’s to counteract what’s being leaked, about Harry wanting to come back about potentially seperate living arrangements etc. it has Harry and Megan written all over it, you always know it’s their camp as it’s all they are hugely successful and wildly happy , winning at life nonsense.

It’s like he’s decided in this split, he’s going after his mother’s family to try and come out with something from the break-up. He never appeared particularly close to them before, but guessing he’s struggling out there in the US and is clinging to any family he has left. Also probably trying to one up William

they will be Switzerland and remain neutral and will have spoken to William . I’d be very surprised if William tried to put a stop to that, I don’t think he’s vindicative , more he just wishes to distance himself and no be involved in Harry’s shenanigans.

This PR onslaught is looking more and more desperate.

howver if they are effectively seperated and put on a show in Columbia, it explains Harry’s looks in Columbia, how he was staring at Megan and why he looked so uncomfortable and why he would be wanting to come back but not permanently (he’d never come back permanently due to the kids).

I feel very sad in part for them all, whatever is happening it is a mess. And has been since the day they met.

I somehow think William doesn't care in the slightest, but it was clearly important to Harry to get it out there that he was invited to his Uncle Charles estate.

Those People magazine articles are absurd. 300 people attended, close family and friends of the deceased, and one of them blabbed to People and it was all about Harry being pleased he put his big boy pants on. Who on earth could that blabbermouth be, it's so hard to guess?! And no senior member of the RF attended. Really? Prince William isn't classed as a senior royal now?

How do the Spencers feel about this? Their beloved family member who died being reduced to a bit part player at his own memorial service? Not to mention his widow and children, who don't even merit being named. A service in memoriam, or a service serving the agenda of a big man baby?

If they have separated I don’t think anyone could think it was anything other than the huge pressure they’ve been under, all brought on by themselves, to fail so publicly, to be so publicly derided, to fall from grace so hard, must cause so much stress.

They can’t do a thing right, and keep losing staff. archewell is a mess, Netflix likely to jettison, Spotify kicked them to the curb. Aro seems to be an abject failure, So they likely take it out on each other. No matter how they portray in public I honestly cannot see how either one goes home of a night and feels happy.

they are isolated, estranged from friends and family, failing at everything, losing all their contracts, publicly derided, objects of derision. all they seem to do is try to counteract poor publicity, pretend they are successful, and collect awards and do weird tours. It’s all they are working on this or that, be it a Dior rep or some other nonsense and nothing ever comes of it. Literally all they have done that was successful was the book spare and their ingervjews slagging off the royals.

Agree the previous story was a test the waters exercise.

If they are blissfully happy in Montecito they certainly aren't doing a good job of selling that fact.

I think Harry is a mixture of PP (and KC) and the Spencers in appearance - but not Diana, oddly!

I do hope we won't see any more silliness (at least on MN) about James Hewitt, but if you look at the young Earl Spencer (Diana's father) and her siblings for the colouring and PP* and KC for the close-together eyes etc, you can see how Harry got his almost-handsome looks. William is much more like his mother in terms of bone structure, and hasn't got the Spencer red hair. (Well, poor chap, he hasn't go much hair at all, but at least he's not trying to hide it and in my view he's still a very good-looking man).

*PP was a good-looking man, of course, but I saw a commemorative coronation tea-caddy in an antique shop recently which showed a chocolate-boxy picture of Philip in 1953 and it could have been Harry! Definitely the eyes.

Exactly. It’s glaringly obvious what the approach is. The new PR is proving no more effective than the old, probably because 1) H&M are so deeply as to have become a lost cause and 2) they don’t listen to advice.

Hazno doesn't look very happy now! IMHO he was used by Megsie, she set out to snare a rich Englishman and that dozy moron fell straight into the snare. I am surprised it has lasted this long. He needed a grounded, decent ladylike person, someone without her own agenda who understood how the rf live. What he got was a grabby narcissist who even told lies about the poor old Archbishop.

I respectfully disagree . Meghan was a hustler and worked hard to become famous and rich . Nothing wrong with that but an actress? She had a few bit parts then a role in a cable show . How many of us can honestly say we had heard of her pre Harry ?
She is still attractive but now a middle aged woman who has shown herself to be spiteful , indiscreet and with a tendency to lie plus persistent rumours of being a bully Hollywood would be ( rightly) wary.
I am not convinced she would be successful if she was on her own . Archetypes was not a success , Pearl dumped , ARO losing followers , cookery show apparently shelved , Lemonada ( who knows) . And all these things have happened while she is still part of Royalty .
Just my opinion.

Let’s hope the Spencer’s gave him the biggest bedroom and an extra sausage at breakfast.
