This is a clip doing the rounds of an actor at comic con standing next to Vanessa Kirby. This actor suffers from anxiety and you can see him sort of hesitantly touch her hand and she instantly turns and holds his hand. It's rather sweet to see her respond and support him.

I wonder if the same thing is happening with Harry and Meghan. It would explain the almost constant hand holding.

Why the double hold? The clamping of his wrist? Can you imagine if that was the other way round and Harry was controlling Meghan that way?

I think that the late Queen was fluent in French, @Ellaelle . I saw film of her chatting away to a French President. Also Charles has spoken German with the Ambassador, and French as well.
Perhaps others will know of their linguistic capabilities.

I think Charles and William both speak good French. Philip was extremely fluent in German. The Queen spoke fluent French and the Wales children are learning Spanish.

I think Philip also spoke Greek, didn't he?.

I think my mam might have preferred I wasn’t quite so vocal at 3.

She would have had me straight down to the minister at the Kirk if I’d have said ‘I can see myself in your eyes’ or somesuch.

The minister would have called in his gaffer if I’d have been instructing folk to hydrate.
