Posters are quite right. H&M are not clever people. Their idea of curtailing free speech is curating free speech. Meghan wants an Instagram existence and Harry wants the Divine Right of Princes to do whatever the hell they like without comment.

I am not sure why you are all quoting me now pointing out lies from Meghan and Harry. I haven't defended Meghan and Harry, I agree they are liars. I was disagreeing with the idea that the WEF/Aspen Institute/Conspiracy theorists choice for that week etc. are all working together to end the right to free speech. I didn't say a single thing about Harry and his comments on the first amendment. This has all gone in a very weird direction.

Not pro censorship, just anti conspiracy theories/making up shit for power and attention (Trump, Musk, Russell Brand etc.) and frustrated that so many are willing to believe it. And sad that the entertaining topic of how ridiculous Harry and Meghan are has been hijacked on yet another website.

Exactly. I don’t think there is anything deeper than this. They really do not have thecritical thinking skills to realise that curtailing free speech is a huge issue. They just don’t want any criticism to be directed at them. They cannot see beyond that. We have already seen that Harry is not interested in his family’s place in history and it would seem that Meghan has no interest beyond her own bubble either. They are really that shallow

It’s not a new discussion. Harry and Meghan’s involvement in the Aspen Institute has been discussed over the last couple of years. The only people bringing up Brand, Musk etc is you. I have no idea what they say, I don’t use Twitter and I don’t watch sex pests.

This is really off topic but I find it interesting that both extreme left and right wing people try to curtail free speech. Thank heavens for the fact that most Pele are Donaghey in the middle and see through both sides who only pursuing their own agenda for power and to stiffle dissent.

They are both about as deep as a puddle in the desert. Neither is capable of considering anything beyond how it affects them personally. Harry's ridiculous 'case' against RAVEC is a perfect example. It's all about this or that person and how they allegedly have it in for him. They are both stuck at the adolescent stage of development.

Nail on head, @smilesy, except it's actually even worse than that because these are people who pretend to care about some very complex issues, without any real understanding of them or any insight into the effects their own actions can have

And the pretence may have flown for a while with some, but now the words have proved empty and the self interest's fully revealed they're left with nothing much at all - which although self inflicted is really rather sad

Having finally managed to catch up a bit (hopefully) with what's been going on in Colombia and these threads, two things come to mind for me

1. What the hell have they actually contributed to this poor and division torn country, apart from taking undoubtedmegabucks from already limited funds for their security?

2. Sentabale. Other than playing in a polo match once a year, what contribution is there? I would have thought assisting orphans because of/living with HIV would have been a cause very dear to Diana's heart. Why not more focus on that, in the altogether safer surroundings of Lesotho and Botswana.
