Another country on the "Don't travel" list.

"But the UK and US governments have both issued security alerts over travelling to Colombia amid fears over crime, terrorism, civil unrest and kidnapping - and Harry's decision to visit comes amid his ongoing battle for his security when in Britain.
The UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office 'advises against all but essential travel to parts of Colombia'. And the US Department of State issued a travel advisory for Colombia stating: 'Reconsider travel due to crime and terrorism. Exercise increased caution due to civil unrest and kidnapping. Some areas have increased risk.'"

Perhaps he thinks this is the way to get his security reconsidered? Personally I'd say the opposite.
If he still had UK security I'd expect them to do a risk assessment and say "NO".
Why should security personnel be put at risk by being required to travel to these dangerous destinations.

Harry really does not want to be there, he hated doing it when he had a real Royal job, so it must be absolute torture for him now. I can only think M must have some pain in her jaws at the end of the day from all that fake smiling, its the oddest thing to see her big grin when everyone else around her is serious and paying attention. .

There is a video of her on X interrupting and cutting off Harry when he is speaking to someone, he looks suitably chastised, and mortified, he tgets the death glare another time, guess he must have been talking rubbish.

There was indeed a discussion about that post - it wasn't received well, and people did ask for proof and none was forthcoming.

If you're going to attempt to characterise a thread based on previous exchanges, at least give a fair representation of what was said. And of course you can always report comments you think go too far (much better than repeating them) MNHQ can and do delete comments that go to far - including those that repeat nastiness in the guise of deploring it

I think she must be bright, to have reached the office she holds.

And I think she is, very deliberately, using this visit to further her political ambitions. She saw the Netflix and invited MM to a day celebrating women of afro descent last year, which she was unable to attend. That day received no international press coverage that I remember seeing at the time, but if MM had been there, the profile would have been very different. Even without getting the spotlight on that, it was still worth hosting a visit, because it's getting attention on her and projects she has selected. Canny.

Edited to add: plus it will be a tourism boost, as some might see it now as a safer destination than UK (though of course the average tourist isn't in as peculiar as set of circumstances as the Sussexes)

if the sexes were reversed people would be calling it emotional abuse. Isolating from friends and family is generally a give away.

Harry (and Meghan) I think, are only interested in “facts” that show them in a positive light. They are not really concerned about the internet and its safety. They are only interested in controlling the narrative so there is no criticism of them ever. That is their motive behind their interest in what happens on social media and in the press in my opinion
