The funniest thing about when her belly popped out at the dog rescue was how the people standing around clearly registered the pop and tried their best to keep a straight face.

i believe Megan carried and birthed her children, but she definitely wore a “Moon Bump” throughout her pregnancies. There are some mean gossip blogs which analysed her bumps in detail and there was even occasions where it deflated by the end of the visit, went up and down in volume in the space of days etc

I had a moment like this... my pregnancy band popped and I felt like I was falling apart with a flabby belly hanging loose despite being 7 months pregnant 😭 I don't anticipate Megan having had that issue though!

I agree with your point about Andrew, actually. He's a lot of deeply unpleasant things but based on the information we have, he's not a paedophile. He didn't care about women being trafficked or care what Epstein had done but that doesn't mean he's sexually attracted to children.

Where can you find out info that is detailed in that way.

@sausawyee "Eg tell me - is Harry a figurehead for Invictus? I've raised that a couple of times and you haven't answered."

I have no idea-I don't know anything about Invictus. I assume he was when he was a member of the RF as an ex serviceman. But I'm not sure what value he could add how.

Errr Harry founded the games. He is way more than a figurehead.
He came up with the idea of an international sporting event for veterans after seeing the Warrior Games in the US.

You can say what you want about him but you can't take this away from him.

Pinkchicken75 · 30/07/2024 07:54

What’s a moon bump for ? I don’t get it

Ooh - I'm not sure he actually founded IG. I think you're right that he was inspired by the Warrior Games, but it was the Royal Foundation which came up with Invictus and it was given to Harry as his 'project'. The Royal Foundation have also donated funds to it.

Not a fan of H, but I do think he has genuine commitment to IG and it was working well. But I think Meghan should back off - IG is nothing to do with her and her presence is irrelevant and a massive distraction from the focus, which should be the veterans. You may say that's not her fault, but it is when she wants to make speeches apologising for 'being late to the party because she was putting her kids to bed', or some such nonsense, and deciding to march in front of the vets grinning in shorts'n'flip-flops. I don't think Meghan gets it at all.

VimtoVimto · 30/07/2024 08:13

That Diana although attractive was not beautiful. I think the late queen in her youth was far prettier.
I also think Camilla is far more suited to being queen than Diana .

deciding to march in front of the vets grinning in shorts'n'flip-flops.

That did look extremely bad.
Meghan in her little playsuit strolling along, grinning and flicking her hair, in front of the vets, serious-faced and marching.
It actually must have made marching quite awkward for them as Meghan wasn't keeping the tempo like an experienced member of the armed forces would.

Well yes, he had the idea after seeing the Warrior Games. I think the point is that he didn’t do it on his own. His idea was worked upon with the Royal Foundation and the MoD.

There's been lots of evidence over the years that Andrew is arrogant, rude, entitled, abrasive, not very bright, grumpy, snobbish - just for starters.

Undoubtedly he's a disgusting, sleazy man. He was handsome, in a toothy way, when in his late teens and 20s, and got a lot of attention from women. I think he's stuck in that period, in his mind, and hasn't grasped that the years have not been kind, and that attitudes have changed. On some level he still thinks he's a 'babe magnet' (ugh...shudder) and I bet , didn't necessarily think it odd that very young girls were prepared to er...keep him company. He might even have thought they fancied him and were impressed with his royal status - he's that thick and boorish.

But I don't think you can say he's a paedophile, either technically or in fact. I'm not trying to defend him, but I like to accurate in these things!

And, horrible though it is to remember, attitudes were different 40 ears ago. Older men didn't think it was weird to openly lust after, and have relationships with, very young women.

Invictus was clearly founded by Harry. The money he raised was paid into the Royal Foundation. That is why when Harry left the Royal Family he was able to take that money out of the Foundation. If it had belonged to the Foundation to allocate as they wished, he would not have been able to take it with him.

Her short circuit wiring had malfunctioned 😂

He should have been allowed to marry Koo Stark. Deemed unsuitable because of her film
work (stitched up by another aristocratic man who turned his art house film that she starred in into soft porn), she was actually from a well to do background, very intelligent and well brought up; and has never breathed a word about their relationship, despite, I am sure, the financial enticement that must have come her way. Fergie was a mistake - although I have no doubt they are great friends, they were never going to keep each other on the straight and narrow - both too greedy and easily manipulated,

HumanBurrito · 30/07/2024 12:35

The sex stuff is just one reason to dislike Andrew. Plenty of sleazy financial shenanigans going on too from the "trade envoy" golfing trips to the deeply dodgy Pitch@Palace project.

Why did he need to take money that was raised for Invictus? And where has it gone 🤔

HumanBurrito · 30/07/2024 13:08

I'm smart, personable (IRL at least 😉) and a good public speaker. I'd make a great figurehead. Any advice on how I can get my own personal royal foundation to sponsor my pet projects?

Invictus is still going separate from.the Royal Foundation, so I'd assume it's still with Invictus, but Invictus doesn't have anything to do with the Royals anymore. It would be more suss if money raised specifically for Invictus was kept with the Royal Foundation despite Invictus not being part of it.

Yes I know that but the poster I was replying to seemed to be implying that Harry had taken the money out of the Foundation, not that it had stayed with Invictus. I would expect the money to stay with Invictus. That why I was asking where it had gone

Riptides · 30/07/2024 14:53

Unpop views of mine.

People walk on eggshells around William but Catherine wears the trousers better than Meghan.

Meghan really suits denim jeans but Catherine is too skinny for them. Harry dresses better than Meghan.

HumanBurrito · 30/07/2024 15:05

Bringing up kids in the RF is verging on child cruelty and monarchists are complicit.
