I say we don’t give it any air.

The patriarchal world is very much out of date. It needs to change and become 21st century not something it became 2 million years ago.

Than you for that insightful and relevant comment 🙄😂

Kate looks great. Love her fashion choice for the day, and Charlotte’s complimentary outfit.

crumblingschools · 15/06/2024 12:16

Bet Camilla is glad she isn’t on a horse now!

Quite.

I find it sad that personalities and characters are forecast for primary aged children based on tiny glimpses of their behaviour during very boring ceremonies. George is ‘serious’ , Charlotte ‘bossy’ and Louis ‘cheeky’.
I don’t agree with the RF or parading the kids out and don’t believe for a minute the kids enjoy these things and wouldn’t prefer to be playing sports with their friends

Why?

I do it with my own kids and other kids I know.

Why should they be playing sport? Maybe they prefer watching wildlife programmes or playing with a chemistry set. Or doing some art. Are you forecasting their personalities? Maybe they are well adjusted kids who get plenty of family time from both their mother's and father's sides, and understand that watching their father's family at work every now and then is part of their family set up. It's hardly an every week occurrence for them, is it?

I love the shire horses. One of them is definitely strutting its stuff

Onyx was definitely dancing too.

Toastedalmonds · 15/06/2024 12:20

Kate looks gorgeous! Bloody weather though

Willmafrockfit · 15/06/2024 12:20

They need windscreen wipers

Both their parents have spoken about all three of their kid’s love of sport

ItsNotAShopItsAStore · 15/06/2024 12:22

They’re still gonna do the fly past. Yay!

They’ll be fine missing one Saturday morning’s sport.

BemusedAmerican · 15/06/2024 12:24

Part of becoming an adult is being exposed to many things and learning to find an interest in anything. I've met too many kids (and adults) who cannot learn to move through boredom. This is good training for the Windsor children

LivelyBlake · 15/06/2024 12:26

Charlotte demisting the windows was so sweet! Pretty clear the family are there as part of keeping things normal for the kids. They clearly enjoy the parade and there's no way she'd miss it if it was at all possible. think Kate looks a bit frail but clearly enjoying it and she'll be really glad she made it.

So if you trust that statement, maybe you can trust these parents - who know their children very well and clearly run a close family unit - not to be forcing their children to do things they don't want to do and don't enjoy.

It’s lovely to see Catherine, I hope she’s ok. ❤️

Very true. Although the Wales kids don't look bored at all. My kids are watching and enjoying it (having been out doing their respective sports this morning 😂)

Noras · 15/06/2024 12:31

I think that ( from the brief glimpse I had of the event) Katherine and family looked absolutely lovely. They know how to put on a show. I hope that she gets some rest now. The kids seem extremely well behaved and normal.

Willmafrockfit · 15/06/2024 12:32

Drumming and riding a horse, steering with their feet, amazing

Louis is gonna be the cheeky chappy of the family forever more isn’t he.

I can see in 12 year pictures of him stumbling out night clubs half cut 😂

Because he had a little dance? He actually looks very well-behaved while not being a little robot.
