I think Charles only met Lilibet one time and has seen Archie a couple of times? So that would mean he's 'met the Sussex children' (together) just the once.

I have a feeling William might have rather a lot to say about that. And given that the RF has been utterly tight-lipped about the whole H&M situation and has not responded to any provocations, I question what side this 'royal source' is speaking for.

I honestly cannot see them returning . Didn’t Meghan say she wasn’t setting foot in the U.K. again ? They cannot be trusted . The fact that H and M only found it about Catherine’s cancer along with the rest of the world shows they are firmly “ out”.

It’s just unfathomable to me how much venom you can spit at total strangers whom you’ll never meet, who have surely never done anything to you, and mention of whom can be almost entirely avoided by simply not reading trash.

This is the issue really. Members of a royal family, or indeed representatives of any head of state, are essentially ambassadors of their nation. Meghan and Harry have criticised the UK on a world stage - the implied accusations of racism, that it’s not safe, the press is awful, the government is ‘rock bottom’. All those things affect the UK and its people. For example I have been called ‘racist’ online simply because I dare to defend the UK to people intent on denigrating it. I give up now as my lived experience as a POC living here in safety and without discrimination is dismissed. That’s how it affects me.

I suspect Meghan would be here in a heartbeat with her kids if she could get a photo of them with the King, one that she could use as spin for whenever she wanted, other than that I would say she has no desire for Harry or the kids to have any involvement or relationship with King Charles or the family.

I also think King Charles is probably not the most available grandfather and is not pining away about not having H& M’ kids popping in.

I think they are getting the UK mixed up with Jamaica. Or indeed Nigeria. Both bristling with danger according to governmental advice on both sides of the pond. I don't think that Charles is having friendly video calls when he couldn't spare more than 15 minutes in person to see his son lately.

And as a grandparent myself, I'd imagine he's pretty devastated to not be in their lives but I would imagine that he has little choice. Harry has turned out to be a pretty nasty piece of work and I'm not sure Meghan is much better.
