I’d love to know what the cousins all really think of the Harry situation. Of course they are all too polite to spill it.

I think Louise and James are too young and too far removed from the action to be remotely arsed about Cirque Harold, Peter and Zara are busy frenetically milking their own connections; Euge is a sympathetic sieve and Bea is an unknown quantity but on balance most likely looking out for no. 1 and keeping her place on the gravy train.

I always had a feeling that Eugenie had the role of some sort of link between the family. I imagine that Charles would have been glad that Harry was not completely isolated from the wider family. The problem is it could not continue. Time has not been a healer, it’s feels more toxic now than it did after Oprah and spare. Both sides are being damaged but only one side doesn’t need to generate cash.
