Seriously? All the Walll Street bankers and White Shoe firm lawyers must have missed your memo.

@CathyorClaire

I’m assuming that documentary is the one that was shown here (France) last week?

Obviously the team that produced that one will have edited for effect.

My own take on it was it didn’t reveal anything sensational, but OTOH it did highlight one or two seemingly really odd issues, the most weird thing was the listed Archewell business address/office they visited that turned out to be almost entirely unused and unfurnished.

As I recall it the presenters basically admitted they left town having hit a brick wall in terms of really finding out what was going on.

As noted, Delaware is attractive as a location for registering corporations. One of the attractions is privacy - corporations are not required to make certain information publicly accessible, including names of directors or officers. You don't have to have a functioning office or staff on the ground to register in Delaware. You do have to provide an annual report by 31 March though.

'Leaving empty-handed' was either a disingenuous melodramatic touch or an example of the documentary makers failing to do their homework about Delaware.

@mathanxiety you’ve reminded me of suburban clubs in 80s where satellite dish installers wore Boss & other designer suits, being sure to leave the outside manufacturers label on the sleeve :)

The casual chic style is an indicator of higher social status.

I kind of know what you mean but at times H seems to have opted to look like a gash, slightly unkempt junior officer heading for the mess bar, rather than the sort of casual look required/accepted in some jobs when heading out to do serious business.

User14March · 21/05/2024 15:40

@notimagain you’ve nailed who he is & where he’s likely happiest & comfortable. That and/or running a game reserve in Africa.

@Thedom why is my eye drawn to M’s teeth here, has she lost a lot of weight in face?

I would be gurning too if I had him shadowing me.

LaurieLeecountry · 21/05/2024 17:36

No one looks happy in that picture. M has her fake smirk plastered on. How bizarre.

MrsFinkelstein · 21/05/2024 17:50

@Thedom I think she's maybe just had her veneers redone, it looks like she's gone for that current Hollywood teeth look - bright white and slightly bigger.

Her face is also a little bit slimmer, which may make her teeth look more obvious than before.

She looks lovely as always, but it's a jarring image with the Armed paramilitary right behind her.

Thedom · 21/05/2024 17:55

All I can see in that photo is the riot police standing directly at her back, it's no wonder she didn't eat at any of the events.

Sussurations · 21/05/2024 18:02

Her veneers are a bit OTT. Her smile usually looks good in photos from a distance, but up close it looks like she has too many teeth. However, she is far from alone among famous people in that respect.

My fave thing she has ever worn was the dress she wore to the Stephen Lawrence service. Sadly, it was horribly inappropriate for the event, but it suited her well. Navy blue Boss dress

Tlolljs · 21/05/2024 18:20

Ooh I don’t rate that one much at all @Sussurations very dowdy.
Good fit and good shape though tbf.

User14March · 21/05/2024 18:42

Not keen on dress above but M suits sleeveless & v necks.

Abouttimeforanamechange · 21/05/2024 18:45

Navy blue Boss dress

I quite like that, but yes, inappropriate for the event. Would have been better with a jacket over it.

I find this image mind blowing.

I’ve just read an article in the Telegraph that apparently Harry turned down the offer to stay at a Royal Residence whilst in London due to security concerns. This photo is obviously indicative of the level of security that they deem satisfactory…..

Abouttimeforanamechange · 21/05/2024 20:41

apparently Harry turned down the offer to stay at a Royal Residence whilst in London due to security concerns.

Where could he find to stay in London that was more secure than a royal residence?

AnnieSF · 21/05/2024 21:04

@notimagain your typo describing Harry as a gash. Is that a polite word for him? 😂

Is he there just for Meghan?

User14March · 21/05/2024 21:29

I hadn’t thought that security could also confer status.

ThePoshUns · 21/05/2024 21:38

No one in that photo looks comfortable.
